Or could this put your job on the line?

My husband is a supervisor--all guys.
He/we are very close with some, a couple spend a lot of time at our house, we do things together in the summer--bbq's,swimming,ect.

The guys know my husband has to be different with them at work, each side gets very angry at times but once they clock out, any hard feeling are left at the door.

The only thing that could put their job on the line is them not doing their job.

Yep. It may not be advisable, but it is OK. There's an old saying, "Don't go to bed where you make your bread."

It could put your job on the line, but more likely if you're close to your boss, the other workers will always think that you are getting favorite treatment--whether you are or not.

To avoid problems, remain professional.

As long as they aren't your friend first, you have the right idea. Woman tend to stab other woman in the back, but if it's a friendship between two men or a man and a woman you'll be better off, but they will probably expect more out of you.

If you're bumping elbows you should move your seats further apart.

If you're bumping uglies you should move your seats MUCH further apart :-)
