Or if half was spent on health care and half on education

Or 1/3 on health 1/3 on mass transit and 1/3 on education


What would the US be able to do and look like - Would the US finally be more than 5th on the list of best life standards for their citizens ?

If you get injured on the job and company DR puts you on "light duty" is it legal for the employer to let you do light duty at a reduced rate of pay because it is clercial work instead of your normal job duties?

I was driving home today and a cop follows me so i ignore him and go about me business when I get to my house I park the car right in front of it. As I'm opening the car door and getting out I see the cop standing right there. So he gives a ticket for my tags being expired. But I was wondering can he do that after all I had the key out of the ignition and was getting out of the car when he pulled up. Oh by the way I'm in phoenix area. Thank you in advance

my radar detector only goes off full time when i am home no where else does it pick up a constant signal . could just be paranoid but i somehow get the feeling im under surveilance

I watch Cops on Saturday nights on Fox, and some of the things they do seem unprofessional to me, they also seem a little more 'casual' then the idea of a police officer should be. Like when a guy steals a car but then decides to surrender and gets out and assumes the surrendering position, all the cops tackle and fight him like the guy is still running or resisting, when he is surrendering! Anyways, I was thinking that cops shouod have more of a military discipline training and maintenence. Perhaps the National Guard should police the streets, wouldn't that be a good idea, maybe not Military Police but the president can invent a new MOS relating to a police officer?
