I see references here regarding a failure of then Mayor Guliani to purchase radios for the NYFD that would have worked better on 9/11. Does anyone know what model/brand of radio would have performed better under the same circumstances and if those radios are in use today in New York?

I am getting a divorce from my wife and I need a subpoena to get the text conversations off my own cell phone! How do I go about getting the subpoena, would my lawyer get it for me, or can I go to the courthouse and get it myself?

The Democrats padded the survey last night in favor of Ron Paul because they know they can win even if they exhume one of the three stooges to run against him. He tried to choke me this past weekend and pushed be around. I just want him to go to anger management classes. I think he may even be using steroids! We have a 2 year old daughter together. I know when he is arrested I will have to leave and have no contact with him but I just want to be at home. I know of the penelope house but I don't want to live in a shelter. I have friends and family but their houses are packed. Any suggestions? What other housing options are available. I live on the coast of Alabama.

my friend got off of an assult case with bail discharge,they told him if he doea anything illeagal within the next 2 yrs he would go to jail for 30-90 days.he recently got a speeding ticket,can he go to jail from this?

have been off/on for 6 years with my boyfriend...we've never lived together, he has his own home...he has always talked of us having a baby together...well i'm pregnant...i've lost my job and have 2 kids already, have had to apply for income support...benefits agency say the law is you cant have a boyfriends sleep over and claim a benefit...and have sent me CSA papers as i dont live with the father of baby...heres where i need the help....he used to stay over about half the week when i was working....ive had to stop that....he wants to continue says 'no one will find out'....doesnt wash with me, have stuck to what the benefits agency said...he also doesnt want me to tell the CSA that i know where he lives...says he will sort me out just between the 2 of us...again doesnt wash with me...i'm not teling lies to either agency....i never even knew he had this side to him...i'm shocked,quite distressed and upset about his attitude..this isnt how babies are brought into the world..any advice?

The Dream Act will legalize young people who were brought to the US as a minor. It will open a door of opportunity to those who received education here and have assimilated to the American culture. They are going to be your future tax payers.

Under what condition, would you be able to accept the Dream Act of any other amnesty?
