50.5% Out of 7,415,342 votes cast, he got 3,743,431. Remember this was a recall vote to oust Davis, and 4 Candidates ran for the vacancy. The person with the most votes wins, and he still had a majority.

In the 2006 Gubernatorial election Schwarzenegger won by enough to win handily. That is all that counts. Since California is a BLUE state you can imaging how bad his opponent must have been.

I voted for McClosky.(spelling?). I didn't vote for Arnold, even tho I like him, because he is pro-abortion.
