you can sue them for the deductible on your insurance and the adjusted ammount in your insurance premium. good luck.

You can turn this into the insurance company and they will take care of it. If the person is found then they will prosecute them for the damages and you need to let them know that you want your damages recovered, IE the deductable.
The Insurance companies are real good about making sure that they get their money back when possible, and yours too if they can, this makes them look good to you and you continue to be a long paying customer.

Legally you can sue them (You might want to stitch them up but I don't think that is what you mean). However they probably haven't got any money and the insurance company will want their share (assuming the bills cost more than £500 in total), so it is probably a case of throwing good money after bad.

Yes you can make a claim for compensation for the financial loss you have suffered. The problem is that the people responsible won't be able to pay it so no compensation will be awarded or at least only a minor amount....This makes me so mad.....if the Govt. can chase students for thousands of pounds of debt when they get a job, why can't they chase criminals for compensation when they grow up and get a job....seems daft to me.

it is up to the insurance company to do the following:(since it was stolen, damaged, stripped etc)
1. either repair the bike back to it's original configuration.
2. or total the bike and pay off the amout owed.
3.or the amout of the bike's present value minus 500lbs to you if the bike is paid for.

There would be no point suing them as they are probably teenagers and do not have any money.
