Hell no they dont help thier cause.
Do you think some CEO wants to look out his window and see a bunch of longhaired grubby looking people screaming a bout peace and marajuana. No if you have an issue take it to the courts and the debate table dont run around a freakin fire looking homeless. Because no one will take you seriously you will just appear as another contriuuter to the decay of clean cut suit and tie america

Since most the protesters of today have been mothers, college students and even GIs. I would say your hippy comment is way out in right field. I think you have been watching too much Faux News.

Given that these types of protesters have devolved into full-blown anarchists, I'd say they hurt their causes. Of course, given how many alleged causes they throw in the mix, I highly doubt many of them even know what it is they're actually protesting.

depends on what they are protesting. if they are protesting deodorant or barber shops then they don't hurt their cause.
