After the USS Arizona, the Oklahoma sustained the most casulties of US servicemen, yet has no memorial.
Shouldnt it deserve one?

The Chinese will not support us in sanctions against Iran. The Russians are threatening us. The French invest in Iran and many other nations with against whom we have sanctions. Isn't it time to say I am not supporting these countries that use my money against my interests? How many people are willing to take a pledge to not support China, France and Russia whenever possible?

In your opinion, do you think that the government have the right to control drugs?

im unsure.

I think that in a way, we should have the rights to put whatever we want into our bodies.

But then legalisation of all drugs could cause disasterous consequences.

Let me know what you think.

let me just ask you a two part question.

And I'm going to try to do it carefully, because I don't want to offend the sensitive-sensibilities. Right from the start on this one, I'm not going to give people so much the benefit of the doubt on this one. It's a provocative question, that comes to me with an angry kind of tone to it. So that's reason enough, right from the start, to see if I can sort of pillow-it gently for people. I suppose I aim to provoke response, with the feeeling of the question, but, actually, I don't really want to provoke offended-feelings response. Thats not the kind of answering I'm interesed in.

If you don't like the question or feel too much like "I don't get it" with this one there's no point answering. I need you to just move on to some other question please. Thankyou.

Two part:

1. Has America ever "lost" a war? (Or anything?)

2. Are you (me and you=America) re- ?? [

Please click the link and read, and then answer me this - if the other person is dead, how can they get a marriage licence?

My friend is the one commented on that she should "mind her own business", and I have comments at the end.

I would like opinions and any advice as to how to help my friend through this troubled time, and if it is legal to acquire a marriage license when the other person is dead!

Simonweb has had what I would guess is about a 60% uptime on our website hosted with them. They no longer answer support emails, we cannot cancel our membership through our settings, and they continue to charge us every month. We have our honeymoon registry and a business portfolio on this site, so besides the money they're taking every month for almost nothing, we're losing money when the site is not up. I've found other people complaining about the same thing online. We've already filed a complaint with the BBB. Can we sue?

Why is loaylty such a bad word, especially among the Left. The United States of America voted for President Bush, he has sacrificed the last 8 years of his life and guided us into two just wars. The rest of the world hate us and him.

Don't we owe him a little loyality for his sacrifice?

Go to Los Angeles and you will see the future of America if uncontrolled immigration continues. Go to El Paso and look on the Mexican side and see the squalor. You can probably just write off LA at this point because I really believe they have damaged parts of its beyound repair. The damage estimate to fix it would be too great.

We have been so worried about conservative Muslims trying to turn secular nations like Egypt or Turkey into Islamic states. Aren't Christian fundamentalists trying to do the same thing in the United States? If we really believe in keeping religion out of government, shouldn't we be practicing the same thing at home?

LIBERAL, in order: Vermont, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Michigan, Washington st., Oregon, New York, Maryland, Rhode Island

CONSERVATIVE, in order: Oklahoma, Wyoming, Idaho, Mississippi, Texas, Georgia, Kansas, Indiana, North Carolina

I recently went to a photo place in the mall to get bridal shots taken. They explain that the photos taken and bought from them may not be reproduced in any way for any reason - monetary or not. They said the photos will have a marking in them to guard against illegal copies being made. I'm ok with all that, but was curious . . .

If I took the picture to a self-copy machine, like the ones in wal-mart, how will they know? Does the machines have a way to tell the photos are not to be reproduced? Would a person who uses a machine like this get in trouble? Or do they just say that to get people to buy the copies from them and not to reproduce them?

If you have worked at a place like this and know the truth to this curiosity, please let me know. Thanks!

And just wait for the economy to collapse?

Or should they have done something 4 years ago when this problem started?

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson called Tuesday for an aggressive response to deal with an unfolding housing crisis that he said presents a significant risk to the economy.

In the administration's most detailed reaction to the steepest housing slump in 16 years, Paulson said that government and the financial industry should provide immediate help for homeowners trying to refinance current mortgages before they reset at much higher rates.

He also called for an overhaul of laws and regulations governing mortgage lending to halt abusive practices that contributed to the current crisis.

My husband owns a home with his father. On the original deed is- My husband, his father and his ex wife. On the mortgage is my husband and his father (not the ex wife)
My husband got the house when he divorced his ex wife.
He lived in it for about 2 years after the divorce was final then when we decided to get married we wanted to sell it. When we put the for sale sign up his ex asked if she could buy it. We were in a hurry to move and said yes. We let her and the children move in under the conditions (verbal agreement) that she would secure her own financing. My husband signed a quit claim deed to her. His father did not. The quit claim deed was notarized but it was NOT filed. Now she is requesting that he sign another quit claim to her, I think because she lost the first one and it didn't have all the right info on it. We have been trying to get her to finance it for a year and she still hasn't. We are now weighing our legal options...what are they?
