Shouldnt it deserve one?

They held the groundbreaking for that memorial on Ford Island on December 7, 2006. It will sit outside the Foxtrot Five pier which currently has the USS Missouri tied up to it. I don't know if they raised the over 750 thousand dollars needed to complete it, but it is underway.

That would be up to the people in Oklahoma. If everybody feels as strong as you do, then perhaps it's time to start contacting your congressman and representatives.

As for deserving...all soldiers deserve a memorial.

By all means. What it needs is someone who cares enough to spearhead it and call the sacrifices of the Oklahoma's crew to the nation's attention.

P.S. That's a hint. Go to it.

That's up to the people of Oklahoma to get their politicians to allocate funds to create one.
