In LA we are being squeezed into tighter and tighter sq ft of living space, to escape so many areas that are trashed ( in other ways besides the squalor). I agree, it is horrible. The projected influx of illegals for the next 5-10 years in CA alone is 60 million more. If we don't get a hold on this now, we are in big, big trouble. This is why it is imperative to start taking the toughest measures we can. Then again, go to Miami and you feel like you are in a 3rd world country. The whole country is in trouble.

Well i dont know if they are specifically the source. The illegals where i live tend to at least make an attempt to take care of their habitations. Its just a question of income and what they are coming from. Who knows, maybe a polluted river and a campsite are better than what they came from. As for ameroca becoming 3rd world, well if we arent already there we are well on the way. Its the result of globalization. Did you really think that offshoring to 3rd world would result in higher standards of living? If you did then you didnt pay attention in economics class. All globalization does is create a situation whete labor is now a trade commodity. Those with lower opportunity cost will have the advantage. On our side all it results in, because it costs so damn much to live here, is a surplus. But who controls that surplus? Not me or my neighbors and family. Maybe microsoft and google. Just because trade results in surplus does not mean that surplus is distributed to the people equally. I hate to sound socialist but i find it offensive that the owners of these companies can trade labor like a commodity creating surplus that only they have access to. It makes no sense, i and my work is simply a commodity to be traded for someone elses gain. Does the exchange of water from one hot glass to another cold glass equate in both glasses becoming hotter? No the heat is diffised to the colder areas until they reach equilibrium. The cold glass becomes warmer the hot glass cooler. India and china have seen relative improvements in standard of living, US has seen a decrease. I predict in another 5 to 10 years the US, China, and India will have exactly equivalent standards of living for the working classes. All those wonderfull mountain california homes and world leading healthcare mean nothing if you cant afford them. I guess thats all the more reason to become self employed.

I dont think that the "trahers" are the ilegals, i think the trahers are the sons of the ilegals they believe they have all rights, since their fathers have none, so they trash everywhere...
and please dont talk about el paso, el paso is ugly as it can be, is much better the mexican city at the border (ciudad Juarez) than el paso, this is an exemple of what the sons of ilegals to here......

It does seem that people in the Congress can not figure out what is going on. What you are talking about is a way of life to them; they don't care. But, remember, they are "good Catholics"!
On CBS news yesterday, they said that border violence is escalating, as Mexican gangs take on other Mexican gangs for control of drugs and importing illegals.
It is time to call out the National Guard.

Just because when i walk down Alvarado street and everyone looks at me funny, and I can't understand them for the life of it, and its heavily trashed doesn't mean NY is any cleaner. Try walking in TJ , you can break your leg in some of the pot holes in the street. lol.

The key word is "ILLEGAL" immigrants... They are destroying our country and economy. 1+1=2. I don't see why people can't figure that out.
