When the Vietnamese people came to America, after the war, around 1974 and earlier, and even later, how did they change American society? What things did they add? What did they give us that benefits us even today?
(I need this for a project!^^ Help plz!)

I've known many of them and have been impressed at their diligence in every area. I've watched them start families and have yet to see a kid not finish at LEAST a bachelor's degree. Many go beyond that.

There are, of course, the exceptions such as kids turning to crime or drugs. Vietnamese gangs were big news in the nineties. Personally, though, I never saw that element; just the doctors, lawyers, bankers, etc.
