i hate them. When i was 11 i was hit by a car. Their wrote down that i ran into the middle of the road. WTF i was on the side waiting to cross. I didnt even see the car , ilooked back and foruth 3 times. I took a step turned my head to look one way then i turned to look the other way . My eye caught a glimpse of the red car literally 5 inches away. As i was rushed to the hospital the jackass who hit me told the police aka her friend for real and im not just assuming. that i ran into the middle of the road. Never again will i trust them.

about man made global warming, evolution, and the big bang just to make money?

That is one of the conspiracy theories cons use. The other one is that the vast majority of scientists who support man made global warming are socialists who want to destroy capitalism.

I'm a 24 year-old guy, and am thinking of joining the army/military here in the U.S. Yes, a bit old, but I'm really determined. But if and when I do get in, is it possible for my platoon leaders to be younger than me?

Is it possible to have a 20 or 21 year old being my leader, and I have to follow his orders?

I don't know. If I'm 30 or older, following someone slightly younger is not a problem. But at 24, following someone who's 21 is kinda humiliating...

Little known to Chuck at the time, he was selected for this flight because of all the potential pilots. he was the one deemed "expendable" by the Govt. He also had a very bad attitude about engineers(which he was not, and thus not selected to be an astronaut), and had a cowboy mentality not unlike someone living in the Whitehouse.

And that stuff he mentions about opening up Space? The Germans were doing that stuff a LONG time before he came into the picture...

He was a member of the Rogers Commission investigating the cause of Space Shuttle Challenger...he showed up for the press conference, and 6 months later signed off on stuff of which he did no work or knowledge of.

This story in Philadelphia where I live has been on the news almost everyday for the last week. To sum it up, a police officer responds to a domestic dispute between a 15 yrs old male and another person (I think another family member). When an officer arrives, the 15 yrs old attempts to hit the officer with an iron, however the officer makes the split second decision to fire a round before he was hit by the iron and kills the kid. Now the family of the 15 yrs. old is suing the department for the officer's use of "excessive force". Am I missing something here? I am pretty sure an iron is considered a deadly weapon, and the kid was 15 yrs. old so he could really put some force behind it. Am I just being biased being that I am training to be a police officer or do you feel that this was in fact excessive force. FYI...only police supervisors carry a tasing devices in Philadelphia.

Save your money people. Spend it were it counts (Gulianni). Paul will never get elected, even if he's the last human on earth; the animals will elect a llama instead.

people because they now believe bush is the anti-Christ and that his act of mass murder was done in the hope that one of the 600,000+ killed would be the real Christ, thereby staving off the end-times.

If this movement continues to grow, what effect will it have on the GOP?

I got fired today because I spelled a sign from right to left, and the manager approched me with an abusive and unappropriate manner. Cursing and and unmanerly actittude was done by him in front of customers and children. He also insulted me by saying that it was spelled the same way in spanish, knowing that I'm latino. So a came to him at closing time to discuss the problem with him, and he told me he had done nothing wrong, I told him that just because I work for him It doesnt give him the right to talk to me or treat me tha way that he wants to. and he replyd saying it does. I never insulted him, and I never disoved him. I came to him appropriatly and spoke to him appropriatly. what should I do about this??

92 years ago, back in WWI, Ottoman Empire and Armenia were at war with each other (who in Europe wasn't at the time), and the Ottomans won by killing off hundreds of thousands Armenians.
A few days ago, a Congressional Committee, is declaring that the Turks are a genocideic people, and soon all of congress are going to vote on this.
WHY?
The Ottomans and the Armenians were at war with each other. WWI happen almost one hundred years ago. It's dumb to lable things (excpt for canned food). Ontop of that, it's a slap at Turkey!
Turkey is one of the US' greatest allies. What if they take this harshly? If they disolve their alliance to the US, then it's gonna be harder to ship supplies and equipment to the Middle East.

I don't get this at all.
