This goes for both cons and libs. Is it common to elect officials who so blindly vote on life and death issues?

I've got an accuaintance that loves to ramble on about politics, or what she heard on Fox News last night. She has admitted that she never votes because she thinks her vote won't count, etc.... I finally said I can't listen to it any longer!! Do you feel if someone waives their right to vote they aren't allowed to hold a political opinion? Or, at the very least to not discuss it with you, being a moot point....?

Isn't this country all about freedom? Isn't a liberal a liberated or a freed person?
So why is it so wrong or so hard to deal with that there are Liberals in our liberated country?
Isn't an American motto: Life, LIBERTY and the pursuit of Happiness. Not Life, CONSERVATISM, and the persecution of Happiness.
Why are Conservatives soooooo judgemental, yet said to be Christians? Don't strict Christians believe that God is the only one to pass judgement?
Enlighten me Conservative believers out there. I am an American with an open mind and I am willing to take your non-rude answers.

ok i have one for all you law freaks out ther ok here it is.....
the DA has a case that has been buliding for almost a year then 2 days before it gos to trial the DA might have to drop the case because the DA victum did not tell the truth because the witness that the DA needs tells the truth about thecase that confums the defances statments now here is the thing i need to know the same vic. in the nest case just made another complant how cridible will the DA take the nest complant that the same vic. that just lied to the DA will take this pperson and what might happen to the nest case that this person has ????/

A sales person came to my office selling a promotional gift certificate to a new salon and spa. The certificate allows you to make appointments for several different services such as pedicure, manicure, haircut, highlights,deep conditioning treatment, etc. You must use the certificate within 4 months and only obtain 2 services at each visit. My coworkers and I thought it was a great deal. The salon is new in town and the sales person said instead of investing in ads,signs, etc the owner wanted to offer these services to build up her clientele. We called the business and verfied this was not a scam. Well, I called today to make an appt and was told these certificates are fraudulent and that the employee that verified them is no longer with the salon. They said the district attorney has info on this. I have called the police to file a report. But, what are the legal ramifications? Can I get my money back and does the owner have to reimburse me since her former employee verified these?

My dad doesn't have a California licence and doesn't speak english. The car was parked in the CHP parking lot and the car wasn't on. Is it legal if the California Highway Patrol (CHP) impounded my dad's car just because he was asked if he was going to drive it, he answer "si" (yes) because he tought the officer was asking something else? my dad got a ticket and the veicle impounded.

Democrats and Communist China have been friends since the 1970's. It was Carter that actually "normalized relations" with China, not President Nixon.

Also, Clinton took money from China. Clinton also gave U.S. military secrets to China. That action put the U.S. at risk for a nuclear missile attack from China. Two foreigners pled guilty but for some reason they didn't go to jail. Also, China secretly helped fund Bill Clinton's legal defense. Democrat politicians don't want the public to know the real facts about Democrats, Clinton, and China.

If what I am reading is true (that illegal immigrants pay taxes) then it seems the I.R.S. is collecting them and effectively working against the goals of both Social Security and Homeland Security.

I was not aware that aliens paid taxes (apart from sales tax). If this is true, how does an illegal immigrant file an income tax report?

Are there any illegal immigrants out there who can explain this process to me?

When my husband finishes his regimen of Infantry training he will be assigned to a permanent Army Post for a period of zero to 12 months, before the unit he is assigned to deploys. I'm trying to figure out if there is a glimmer of hope that I and our newborn son (he will be about 2 weeks old when my husband graduates, I already know the gender of the little cutie) can live with him rather then remaining home. As of now, I and junior will live with my parents in law. I'm thinking that I might be able to apply for on base housing when I find out where my sweetheart (opps husband!!) will be assigned. Also when they tell him where he will be assigned, do they give him paperwork so I can send a copy to the Base Housing Office? My husband is currently a Private and I don't expect he will be any higher in rank when we need the housing. I spoke to my dad abt living on the Post and he's ok with that but very negative abt off post. He's a Police Detective @ a little paranoid (lol lol).

What do I need to know about a mixtape? (Reward: Name on mixtape, copy of mixtape, and will be thanked........

Aight.........Im a rapper, who just formed a group.......We've been rapping in school and people heard us perform. (Talent Show etc.) A producer in my area thought we were good. So he said give him a call, if we need a contract. We thought about it and approved. He gave us the contract and let us think for a couple weeks. We're in the process of deciding........All I need to know is...in a mixtape.......Can you use other instrumentals......Explai... why.......Because I heard alot of (Famous Rappers) perform freestyles on instrumentals (especially their enemies instrumentals) and they make mixtapes (AND THEY GET PROFIT)...Our group dosen't want profit......We just want to distrubute our mixtape to get our voice heard F.Y.I: I don't think The game asks 50 `Cent for permission to use his instrumentals....Or I don't think The game asks lloyd banks for the hands up instrumental)
