ok simply put there is like a 90% chance the election in Australia will be called tomorrow. will the US Government be paying any attention to what’s going on here after all Bush and Howard are friends. and how much coverage (if at all) will American media follow the election. and how many Americans would actually be interested to hear news about the Aussie election?

What are your thoughts on the people and large organisations ie OIL companies, that have bought these patents that can revolutionise the energy/fuel industry. If these people/organisations do not use them should they be made to give them up to organisations that will use them, if so how do we get the governments to listen to the people and not these large organisations?

When, as a society, did we lose our sense of humor? The comment by the representative regarding NASCAR and inoculations was, in my opinion, quite funny. We live in a time where only certain groups of people can joke and poke fun at others. It's aright for women to make jokes about men, but if the tables are turned, it's sexist and insensitive. It's alright for Chris Rock to talk about white people, calling them 'crackers' but you can't tell jokes about black people (yes, I said black, not all black people are African-American). People get mad at a wine called 'Gato *****' even though it's in a different language and is translated as Black Cat wine, yet has nothing to do with the English equivalent. Why can't we just get over ourselves and laugh a little. I make blind jokes all the time. I also make fat jokes too. Being fat and blind - should I be mad at myself? Should I sue myself for defimation of character? Should I have an article featured in Yahoo! as a bad person? Get over it!!!

A high school grad with good money management skills, a good work ethic, and a good understanding of long term investing would be much more successful in life than a medical school grad with a drug habit and a flair for fast cars and fast women.
So, what keeps people in poverty in America?
Is it the consumerism mentality people are bombarded with on TV from childhood? Is it the failure of inner city schools to provided students with sound money management skills? Is it a character flaw in the individual? Is it because of a low IQ?
What do you see as the major reason people live in poverty in the land of opportunity?

Isnt it true that in an economic system that accepts and welcomes the fact that people can take advantage of the system to become billionaires ...that it should be understood that there will be X amount of destitute people..even hard working people who make barely enought to keep from being beggars on the street?

So my question is ....if you embrace capitalism and billionaires should you not embrace all of its results, instead of accepting one whilte trying to pretend the other does not occur or perhaps sweep it under the rug??

This beautiful city is constantly in the news lately. Most due to gay parades, which show some real despicable behaviour and dress.
Now they are invading and disrupting Catholic mass. The government places any and all roadblocks up against anything military. All of this with no criticism by the local government and some of the behaviour is a result of the officials themselves.
Am I the only one offended by this cities antics?
I have been to this city 7 times and now unless the city changes it's philosophy, I hope I go to my grave visiting San Francisco 7 times.

In the U.S., people want universal healthcare, welfare, social security (like anyone under 40 will see that), government oversight on just about everything, etc. Is personal responsibility fallen by the wayside?

is it okay for demonstrators to use remote control cars against roadblocks by bumese soldier
Question Details: DEMONSTRATORS DARE NOT GO NEAR THE BURMESE SOLDIERS BECAUSE THEY COULD BE SHOT DEAD.

LOOK LIKE THE NEW WAY TO PLAY WITH BURMESE SOLDIERS IS TO USE REMOTE CONTROL CARS AGAINST THEM.

ON A SECOND THOUGHT, THE MILITARY JUNTA IN BURMA WILL COUNTER ATTACK WITH REMOTE CONTROL CARS.

LOOK LIKE BOTH SIDE WILL BE PLAYING WITH REMOTE CONTROL CARS.

THIS COULD INVOLVES CARS, BOATS, PLANE, AND HELICOPTERS

DEMONSTRATOR COULD USE HARMLESS CALCIUM CARBIDE PIPE BOMB AGAINST ARMY CAMP OR SOME PEOPLE CALL IT HIT AND RUN TACTIC.

I THINK THOSE GENERALS CANNOT SLEEP AT NIGHT.

JUST IMAGE 500,000 BURMESE SOLDEIR PLAYING WITH REMOTE CONTROL INSTRUMENT.

AMERICAN ARE USE DRONES IN AFGHANISTAN AND IRAQ TO SURVEY FOR TARGETS BY B2 BOMBERS?

GUNS WILL BECOME USELESS.

I THINK THE MILITARY JUNTA WILL RETREAT.
