Ever since 2003, Bush and his administration as said things are improving in Iraq. Frequently hinting that "success" is just around the corner. Those predictions have been shown to be wrong again and again. So why would you think that he's telling the truth now ? Some people just never learn it seems.

Does sending someone to jail who has done no harm to anyone make sense? Someone who misses a single traffic court arraignment is arrested and spends a night in jail, is this fair, isn't it more costly to the system? Unnecessarily costly? Men who fall behind on child custody payments are being put in jail to earn credit and reduce their back payments owed for child custody, How does this even make sense? Non-violent drug offenses, how much are we paying to keep these people in jail because they are drug addicts? It has been proven that drug treatment is more effective, and less costly, so why are we still sending these people to jail?

ok on june 8th 2007 i was working for a race tack and got burnt really bad. i was only 15 years old and they had me working a huge gas grill, one of the uge barbecue grills. my boss lit the grill and turned the gas up. then he shut the lid, i went out 10 minutes to check on the burgers and i noticed the flame went out. so i shut the lid and went in and got a lighter to light it. when i lit it, the grill blew up because of all the gas built up inside of the grill. i was in the hospital burn unit for 1 day and have scars from it. should i sue? also i have pictures if u would like to see them.

Bush didnt just send our soldiers to Iraq without asking for permission from Congress. He requested permission and he got it. Case closed. The War was and is legal.

Here is the proof.

The UK wants to extent is territorial waters off the Falklands (almost double it in fact). The reason is simply oil. is it fair though? Does it matter - what are the Argentineans going to do about it: nothing, militarily anyway.

Rudy Giuliani has recruited many neoconservative foreign policy advisers to his campaign, in fact his foreign policy team is made up mostly of neoconservatives, unlike the other GOP candidates who are distancing themselves from neoconservatives and neoconservative policies. The neoconservative movement seems to be rallying around Giuliani as their candidate.

Do you think the Democrats, Sen. Clinton or whoever, could use this as a major issue against Giuliani, saying after eight years of Bush and the Iraq war, do you want another President so influenced by neoconservatives? Or even a scare tactic, perhaps implying that a President Giuliani could lead to more wars, like Johnson used against Goldwater in 1964.

This issue could be very problematic to Giuliani in a general election campaign, as there is opposition to the war and neoconservative Bush policies it could create a general Democratic trend which could tilt key swing states toward Democrats.

Me and one of my co workers were curious about our benefits package because we needed insurance. I was a FULLTIME employee and I had already been there for OVER 3 months, and my co-worker's 3 month's was coming up 2 or 3 weeks later. So, I asked my boss about the insurance and when I could get it, and she said I had to wait in December, but thats "IF" I could even get it, and she said if I dont get it then I have to wait a whole year more. Well, the next couple of days, my co-worker told me that when she asked my boss, she gave my co-worker all of the insurance papers. Weird right?
Not only this, I wrote a note to my boss on sunday (oct. 7th) that I had to attend a church meeting on the past wednesday (Oct. 10th) at 5:30, so its not like I was taking the day off, I just had to leave at 5:30, and we close at 6. She told me I couldn't go and I had to choose between my job or church. Of course I picked church, so, I feel like I was forced to quit.
So, was this illegal? What do I do?
