Ever since 2003, Bush and his administration as said things are improving in Iraq. Frequently hinting that "success" is just around the corner. Those predictions have been shown to be wrong again and again. So why would you think that he's telling the truth now ? Some people just never learn it seems.

For you people STILL in denial, listen to this. It sums up the credibility of Bush very well.

hi there

We can never trust anyone in politics again. We just have to use our best judgment towards them getting a vote or just do not vote. I said I would not vote but if I do not I would feel guilty about not doing so. plus we would not see bush again for president let's all really make a big prayer for our next president cause he /she will need it to clean up the bushes mess. What we need is peace cause right now I really can not sleep thinking if when I wake up a atom bomb or something else will hate us while we sleep ( IRAN , CHINA. RUSSIA} Who knows who else wants to attack us .

be safe be well god bless

BS... If I was Bush, I would say ok libs, I'm pulling completely out of Iraq and Hillary and Pelosi can deal with it! Then watch what happens! Every single conflict that this country has been in, it WAS the Dems who expanded the war...If the Turkey issue doesn't pass and the war expands, you can thank the dems, and the problem will be theirs. I already got my IMPEACH HILLARY bumper sticker...It will be pay back time! Can't wait...you morons on the left asked for all this partisan attack politics!

Unless you realize and accept that genuine progress takes time and fortitude, you can't. Only an immature idiot would expect something different. Sad that so many today expect and insist on "instant
gratification" . That's the biggest problem with today's whiners. Second problem...laziness.

The media only shows what they want to show and you can't allways trust them. I was there in Ramadi(Oct. 2006-May 2007) where we drastically improved the conditions in the Al Anbar province, the largest province in Iraq, there was good change. Tribe members all across Ramadi joined the Iraqi Police force in the city, we built more Police Stations and F.O.B.s, pushed the Al Qaeda that was operating there out, and secured the city.

You don't have to believe him, just believe the evidence - that is what is showing the improvement since the employment of the new strategy. It's there for you to examine.
