university climateology science, do I find gazillions of examples of classes on anthropogenic global warming as fact, but have yet to find a class held on how anthropogenic global warming is a myth, and anyway, even it it weren't it is still good for you?

This is a hypothetical situation.

Let's say that there is a mom who had a one night stand resulting in a baby. Guy was gone the day after out-of-state and no contact has been made. Child is 2 years old now and mother and child are vacationing out-of-state and father happens to see them in his home state. Can he file for custody (or any action for that matter) in his state or does he file in the child's state of residence? Can he prevent the mother from leaving the state with the child (they are on vacation, remember).

I believe that the state the mother/child are visiting does not have jurisdiction-only the state where the child is a resident. What's the scoop?

it seems to me that many conservatives don't trust them, some to the point all dislike, yet at the same time support all of our huge amounts of trade with them, which is making them stonger and stronger?

if you weren't alive or aware of politics at the time?

Just as an example... I feel I could never judge Jimmy Carter's Presidency honestly since I was born during his term in office.

People on here talk about Franklin Pierce, for instance, as being the worst president ever. How can you justify that, if you didn't live through his Presidency? Do you have ancestors who were alive then, who wrote in their diaries about what it felt like to live under that administration? Or do you go by the teeny-tiny amount of info that's written in the history books, as your basis of proof?

Please give your answer some genuine thought before posting it. I'm curious as to how each of you feel about this.

political leaders?
Indecision means uncertainty and in times of crisis--we look to leaders to lead us on a path that we feel is right and that we rely on the knowledge that the leader makes a decision weighing all the options. Often the public has followed the leader, and even backed the leader when the outcome is not so good. what do you think?

I have been working in the field of education for over 5 years now, and want to switch careers. It is a lot harder than I thought. I have good communications skills, but it's hard to relay that when you have forward a resume online before even getting to speak to someone. I read the qualifications for the jobs, and check off all of the things that I have (and more). But then I do not get a response. One interview I made it to actually told me that I was over qualified. Should I leave some things off my resume? I want to go into administration/secretatial ( just enough to take care of my son-
but they are not biting).

There are so many different issues and so many candidates entering the race late. Have you been keeping up with all the in and outs lately and do you plan on doing so up to the last minute in order to have a true and unbiased opinion.

Bi-lingual signs promote Illiteracy(unwillingness to speak English and assimalte into society), and keeps immigrants poor, and out of good paying jobs...

Or maybe someone WANTS to keep picking lettuce, and cleaning toilets...you see you can't have it both ways. Just liek someone going to a job interview with spikes in there forehead, tattoo's on their arms, it will be VERY tough to become a professional in America if you can't speak English.

I am 18 years old and currently in pre-nursing and I thought it was something I wanted to do MY ENTIRE LIFE! My mom is a nurse and I always was interested in it, but when I started I found out that it's really not something I enjoy. I want to go into Air Forice to find out what I truely want to do.

My first question is that I am a female and what do they expect out of you in PT? Like how many push-ups and sit-ups do you have to do?

My second question is what is the best job to do in the Air Force?

Thank you!

Elect Hillary by a landslide.

I am not an American, but I relish the thought of her becoming President. (It looks as if most US voters are starting to lean in that direction)

Apart from being the logical person to right the wrongs of the Bush (Mis) Administration, I absolutely drool at the reaction of halfwits like Hannity, Limbaugh, O'Reilly and Coulter.

Come on, guys, do the right thing, and as a welcome bonus, have a chance of making above mentioned dimwits squirm.

I already have plenty of information on how people would die if we stayed in Iraq, but I can't find any other reasons. Do you know any helpful websites?
Please stick to the Internet, as this is what I am using right now. I have my reasons for writing on this topic.
Also, if you have any of your own opinons SUPPORTING keeping troops in Iraq, feel free to post that too.
Thanks!

Does America Have the Right to Protect Itself?
I say YES!! For years, I have been reading about the border issue and it makes me sick to my stomach that Americans are so blinded by their own generosity and niceness. I do not understand how gullible Americans can be. America has the right to monitor who comes here or not. Do we need another 9-11? I feel that the borders should be closed. Anyone who wants to come here, should go through immigration and NOT break our INS laws by crossing the border without government permission.

If you go into your friend's house without permission, you are breaking the house rules set forth by the owners (in this case your friends). Going into another country without legal status is the same thing as breaking the laws that govern immigration per land. Anyone coming here without a green card is a law breaker and no friend of mine. In terms of Bush, he's an idiot! I bet he does not live next to illegals on his private property, right? It's easy for him to agree that America should let anyone come here simply because they work hard or whatever the case may be. Bush has to be the most idiotic president in U.S. history. I say, close the borders before it's too late! The border issue will be the end of America as we know it today if we continue to sleep on this issue. Come here LEGALLY or else stay out!!!

Your perspective?
