I already have plenty of information on how people would die if we stayed in Iraq, but I can't find any other reasons. Do you know any helpful websites?
Please stick to the Internet, as this is what I am using right now. I have my reasons for writing on this topic.
Also, if you have any of your own opinons SUPPORTING keeping troops in Iraq, feel free to post that too.
Thanks!

This is a portion of an essay I wrote about 1 yr ago, its a bit outdated but I hope it helps. I know how difficult it can be to find information supporting the war

In 2003 president George W. Bush declared war on Iraq. The U.S was not the only nation to take on this endeavor. Great Britain fought. Spain fought. Italy fought. Australia fought. Even Canada fought. But this unanimity was short-lived. Today only a few countries remain in Iraq. Great Britain is fighting. Australia is fighting. The United States is fighting. But even the United States has wavered in its support of the war. The war has become a tool used by both sides of the political empire to advance their influence in the government. But we cannot allow for anti-war critics to drive our policy in Iraq.
It is so often forgotten how Saddam was such a controlling and sadistic dictator. Hundreds of people were tortured and killed for their religious and political beliefs by Saddam and his regime. It is the obligation of superpowers to help police smaller nations. Is it wrong to stand by and watch a bully beat up on a defenseless child? It is the larger and stronger nations, the adults, obligation to ensure the security of the children.
We must continue to fight. The United States in it’s toppling of the Iraqi regime has destroyed yet another Islamic state that was funding and aiding Islamic terrorism. But there is a problem, growing anti-war sentiment in the U.S. and abroad has hindered the progress of the war In effect, committing ourselves more fully to the war would shorten its length.
The U.S. cannot pullout its troops. That would be equivalent to taking the bully out of the room with the defenseless child but opening up the door and allowing five more bullies to come in. History has shown us time and again the problems of premature withdrawal of troops. In fact, Senator Ted Kennedy has called the Iraq war, “George Bush’s Vietnam.” After President Nixon’s Vietnamization, it was only a matter of a couple of years before South Vietnam fell to communism. We cannot allow ourselves to make this mistake again because this time the stakes are must greater.
Constant bickering about what should be done in Iraq has led to an impasse. We can either back down and withdrawal or stand up and fight for what is right. We cannot allow the defenseless child to be pushed around we must be its protector. We must fight for it.

You can hunt down the congressional testimony of GEN Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker, but let me tell you why I think we should remain in Iraq.

The President is not the fool that people portray him to be. He was smart enough to take the war on terror to somebody else's house because if the troops were not there, rest assured that the terrorists would be attacking us on our own soil. We've had how many successful terrorist attacks since 911. Don't fool yourself into thinking that is because they don't want to attack us, it's because our soldiers, airmen, and marines are kicking their tails in Iraq.

Osama Bin Laden and his gang intend on establishing a Caliphate ruled by Sharia law that extends the entire lands formerly held by the Ottoman empire, essentially controlling the world's largest petroleum reserves. What does that mean for the rest of us? They want to control the world. They plan to fight a long an protracted war of attirition against us. If we give them a victory in Iraq, we will lose the freedom of our children and our grandchildren.

Make no mistake, we are fighting for our way of life, and they are determined to destroy it.

General Petraeus now commands the troops. I would invite you to read this letter addressed to his Soldiers so that you can get a feel of what kind of person he is. This letter was written not to the media, but to SOLDIERS, and every soldier in Iraq has read it. He is a man of unbelievable integrity and commitment, and his approach to handling the insurgency and sectarian violence is both revolutionary and effective. Violence has dropped over 50% since he too command. Why? Because the commander's temperment and vision infect his people, and his vision is touching every soul in Iraq.

Yes, Retired General Sanchez is talking noise, but recall that he was forced to retire because of the Abu G scandal. Again, the commander's character is reflected in the actions of his soldiers. Judge for yourself what kind of person he is.

Anyway, I attached a couple of links that may be helpful.

Your first paragraph must state your notion/ foremost inspiration: "I believe that we must retain to preserve our navy troops in Iraq for more than a few factors.. Although many Americans believe they must be introduced residence, I think that there are a number of legitimate factors as to why they must stay in situation"...and many others. In each and every of the next paragraphs, state and provide an explanation for a cause for maintaining the troops there, and problematic on it. In the last paragraph, summarize the entire above.

Do a search with "speeches from senators 2007" and you should be able to view speeches given by Senators on the issue. Direct quotes from a variety of elected officials will be impressive.
