If you don't address the important issues, you don't run a chance of screwing up.
Meanwhile, how about another non binding resolution.
BE IT RESOLVED that George Steinbrenner shouldn't fire Joe Torre.
It should keep them busy for 3-4 days, and
should appeal to Yankee fans.

Exactly what control are you speaking of?
The ability to get a bill to the floor to vote on? Nope, don't have the numbers for that.
The ability to override vetoes from the President? Nope, don't have that one either.

They are too busy complaining about things said on radio and TV to do any real work.
Didn't anybody ever tell them if it's on one of these it's most likely fantasy anyway
