The UK wants to extent is territorial waters off the Falklands (almost double it in fact). The reason is simply oil. is it fair though? Does it matter - what are the Argentineans going to do about it: nothing, militarily anyway.

If the UK is close enough, secure it, and can develop it first, then why not, expecially if nobody else owns the area. If Russia can claim the North Pole, why not? They seem to set a new standard in this type of issue.

More than fair. The Falklands is a protectorate and has Uk Citizens upon its land. We have the right to do what we choose!

As it is they already have a sizable territory around the Falkland Islands.
