Rudd - for the simple reason that Howard's told too many lies over the years - too many "non core promises", too many Tampa's, too many times running off to have Bush tell him what to do (and isn't that embarassing for a sovereign nation), too many "weapons of mass destruction, too many "Workchoices" - there's no way Rudd could be that bad. Then add Costello, Downer. Abbott Ruddock, Andrews etc and its even worse..........................

Kevin Rudd can't be worse than Howard.
I don't hold high hopes for him ~ he's just another politician ~ but at least he will bring new blood, younger more progressive people, and new ideas into government.
His party has a better record on treatment of Aborigines, health care, and education.
