The Terrorists have hit London, Spain, Bali and others but because of George W. Bush's policies;

Wire Taps
Patriot Act
Cuba Prison Camps
Fighting them over there....so we don't have to fight them over here.

The terrorists have not been able to strike America on her own soil.

Also, thanks for bringing Honor & Dignity back to the White House after Clinton and for this great economy Mr. President!

why did president bush's proposal to privatize 4% of social security a couple years back come under such intense criticism, especially given the fact that social security is widely recognized as inevitably heading for bankruptcy by just about everybody?

Question:

1. Would you want 6 million + coming to Ireland (or your country wherever you may be) and demanding everything be in Spanish?
2. Would you want to accomodate 6 million in your public schools, hospitals, and social programs - and YOU pay for it with YOUR taxes, but they pay nothing?
3. How does your country handle illegal aliens?

Hangman's noose found on NYC prof's door
NEW YORK - Investigators on Wednesday were looking into whether a noose hanging from the door of a black professor at Columbia University was the work of disgruntled students or even a fellow professor.

I call B.S.! Funny, how the Jena incident seems to have riled university libs and all of a sudden theres a noose? I don't buy it for ONE MINUTE!

I GUARENTEE this is just another HOAX pulled off by some lib desperate for attention, like this one:

CBS/AP) A professor who claimed she was targeted in a hate crime that stirred student protests at the Claremont Colleges is suspected of staging the vandalism herself, police said Wednesday.

because the main goal for the murderer was to kill the victim, and whether the victim survived or not has nothing to do with the murderer.....yet in most cases which the victim survives, the criminal gets lighter sentences than when compared to if the victim dies.........

do you agree or disagree? and why?

thank you

What would happen to all these people who have their life savings in the market? What would happen to mortgages that we have right now? What would happen to the few jobs that we have left?

I am curious to see what people say. Please no sarcastic comments or Democrat this, Republican that...I don't care about vendettas you may have with the other party and that doesn't enter into my question.

Let me give you the rundown. A couple months ago I was pulled over 16 hours away from home for driving 15 miles over the speed limit in a construction zone. The minimum fine is about 400.00 and I was told that a court appearance is mandatory, since I was in a construction zone and the fine may increase per judgment of the court. I am due in court next week and there is no way in hell I can make it. Any idea what the repercussions of my absence might be? Any possibility of extradition? Will my fines be increased? Any info would be appreciated.

Atlantic City mayor quits after disappearance

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071010/pl_nm/atlanticcity_dc_1

"PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - Atlantic City Mayor Robert Levy resigned on Wednesday, 12 days after he disappeared on an unexplained medical leave and created a leadership crisis in New Jersey's gambling city.

Levy's resignation, announced by his lawyer, was precipitated by an investigation by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs which is looking into whether he actually received two awards that appear on his military record. Levy served in Vietnam during the 1960s and early 1970s..."

Apparently the guy did have a very admirable service record, but for some reason he felt he had to pad it for political purposes and to get extra VA benefit payments. It's actually sort of sad. But why no mention of his political party in the article?

I came accross the following sites:

plasmatvbuyingguide.com
lcdtvbuyingguide.com
dlptvreviews.com

All those sites point to the same 3 web sites:
DTVCity.com
DTVExpress.com
PlasmaDepot.com

Which the same company owns all three of those sites.

I know someone who worked there and they say that all the reviews are fake. That they position reviews to make what they carry sound better than it really is while making products they don't carry or have a lower margin in sound bad.

The main thing that chaps my hide is that they say the are independant and unbaised. The truth is exactly the opisite.

So here is the question.... While I know that it's ethically and morally bankrupt to say such things is it illegal? And couldn't anyone that ever bought from them turn arround and sue them for making false claims and missleading statements?
