You are incredibly naive if you don't think that consulting with attorneys is part of almost every decision a president makes. Romney should be applauded for being so straight forward - it's reality.

I don't know what a "war versus congress" means. The president is the commander in chief so he could order a group of F18s to bomb Capital Hill if he wanted. If you mean a war to get a bill passed, he'd just be a lame duck.

The Constitution clearly states that only Congress may pass a Declaration of War against another country. All this "military action" balderdash has to *stop*.

Yes, a president should ask legal experts before he makes a decision that would put the lives of Americans at risk. The answer he gave probably wasn't a good one to give at a debate though. It made him look bad.

This man is out of touch with reality. Many had hopes on him, but, his stand on things seems to change with the winds and his support has faded some.
I am still looking at Fred. He is most no none sense, direct and hasn't changed his stand on anything since being a Senator.
