Every time I see a question about healthcare, immigration, race, you name it you ALWAYS have a liberal saying "well if you were in there shoes you would...." Why can't they rely on sound facts and logic?

At the end of the day it is the conservative solutions that will benefit everyone over the long term than to employ the quick fix of the liberal.

I am desperate for your help. Military men only for this question. My sister is dating a man and he sent her his pic in a uniform. He is claiming he was a Marine for 26 years, taken prisoner during the Iran hostage crisis April 4th, 1979. After 26 years he got out of the Marines after hosptialized for a long time and went into the Air Force, but took a low E-5 rank by choice. Here is the problem. My bf (ex military) claims the pic is bogus. He has a Trident on after training with the Seals. BF claims you can't get a Trident in the Marines and that unless you pass the BUDS class, which the Marines would not let you complete cause it takes two years. He is wearing a Navy Cross. BF says he can't wear that. The ribbons are in the wrong place, Trident on top, he's wearing this with Marine ribbons on an AIr Force uniform. Marine recruiter said that is allowed, bf says no. Can I email someone this pic and can we finally end this, it's been 3 days of hell.

A family member has hired my attorney to complete work for them. I think this is kind of strange. This person was always bent on having the same attorney as me, although I did not want that. I just want my own attorney, damn it. Is this odd? And why would an attorney accept two separate clients from the same family? I would think the attorney would gain a lot of information from both that would constitute a potential problem in working for both.

Last night I was watching television and saw that in 5 states so far there has been police raids on Illegal immigrants and there are more to come. An official stated that if the law makers can not create a law to get them out then we will just enforce the laws we already have because this is what our citizens want! HooRa!
Anyway I had not seen any raids in Texas so I was wondering has your state seen any of these raids and what do you think.

PS. the people against these raids were saying that it is not fair because these people are not criminals that they are just here to make a living, but then I thought to myself if they are here ILLEGALLY then that would make them a criminal, Next excuse please.

I say this because I know many people who do not vote in Presidential elections because they feel their vote doesn't matter. This is often based on the fact that their particular states usually swing in the opposite of their personal political ideologies from an electoral vote standpoint. Or because they live in a state with few electoral votes which are easily outweighed by the electoral votes of the large states.

I was paying over $450 a month in gas so I decided to quit my job and stay home with the kids. Savings of $810 a month. My part-time job paid less than what I was putting out in gas and after school care costs for the kids.

I'd like to know if anyone else has had major changes in their life due to the cost of gas.

I mean even Senator John Edwards wife has joined the fray, and went on record to say that she was appalled at what Rush said. She did not hear him say anything. She was just speculating from what she heard from Rep. Harry Reid and Tom Harkin. Do we really want leaders who verbally assassinate citizens without the substance to back up their rhetoric?

I'm sure that you've all seen the video by now when Danny Bonaduce walked on the stage during an awards presentation and Fairplay (who nobody likes anyway) jumped on Bonaduce and tried to throttle him. Bonaduce chucked Fairplay over his shoulder and Fairplay landed on his face. It was very reminiscent of the 2004 Presidential Election when George Bush chucked Kerry over his shoulder and Kerry landed on his face (metaphorically).

I know if I had the choice I would have chosen to do guard duty over patrols. I know this was not their only duties but you get my point.

I am sure some soldiers stationed in Germany could fill that void.

MOSCOW — At a major security conference this past weekend, Russian President Vladimir Putin blasted the U.S. for its militaristic approach to foreign policy, saying its actions were "nourishing an arms race."

I certainly hope we are smart enough and dedicated enough to avoid another cold war!
