Rush is an entertainer. His views are not mainstream conservative contrary to what he says. His mantra is populist all the way.
True conservatives have never supported regime change an American policy.
True conservatives believe in pay as you go, not selling our debt to the Chinese.
True conservatives believe in a sustainable earth not raping the land.
Don't be fooled, Rush is going to take any radical stand that gets him listeners and supports his immoral lifestyle.

Because commentators who have a left or center perspective provide thoughtful and meaningful insight. Bill Maher, keith Olbermann, Jon Stewart, and Chris Matthews come to mind. They check facts, they offer real solutions and insights.

Rush just spews the filth and hate and lies and distortions and half-truths and made up garbage his Republican masters tell him to spew. He's just a bit, fat, lying puppet who licks the boots of the masters he serves.

And as a point of fact, Rush's audience has dropped BY HALF in the last three years. That is a fact. So, people are starting to wise up to the lies they've been force fed.

The success of talk radio is from it's flamboyant, reactionary, contraversial entertainment value. It draws listeners the same way the Jerry Springer show does. As a Liberal, I prefer to listen to Rush and other right wing talkies over Liberals. They get alot of their ratings from people who don't agree with them.

Why is liberal radio not popular? Because the success of the talk radio format is dependent on flamboyance and accusatory defamation of people in order to create contraversy. Contraversy creates ratings, which sells commercials. Thoughtful deep thinking people are embarrassed by such nonsense. I don't want someone on Liberal radio defending *my* beliefs with such logical fallacies and childish rhetorical tactics. I rarely listen to Liberal radio, and prefer listening to Rush because someone I disagree with can use those pathetic tactics to make points all they want. I detest the one-way debate format of talk radio. It's the most effective propaganda tool and has fueled the "conservative" revolution, but it makes people way over-confident in their ignorance.

-Mostly Liberal.

Because we liberals have jobs and can't listen to talk radio all day long. That's why the left-of-center news shows such as Keith Olbermann and "The Daily Show" run at NIGHT, when we're HOME.

Whoa one step at a time! We can't find a liberal who can operate on a permanent rage-induced psychosis like Michael Savage as of now, the "Angry Painkiller-addicted Nut" project is still a few years off.

Why do tabloids have a bigger readship than newspapers? Why does Fox News have a bigger audience than cnn? It is because being an entertainer gets more people than being a serious. You will always find enough ignorant people who want to spread rumors and bear false witness than you will who want to have a rational discussion.

Because most liberals are into getting down to the issues. Not dancing around them.

The closest they have is Michael Moore. I don't know why they hate Rush. I never hear "hate speech" from him just opinions.

A lot of people tune in to Rush's show just like they would stop to stare at a train wreck.
