Man, they keep a-yelling and a-swearing at me. It's just plain scary! They think I'm hateful and mean and Godless but I'm a loving, Catholic kind and caring person. I just don't get these guys. Do I hear an amen? Do these HYPOCRITES scare anyone else?

My bf just left for basic training (boot camp) a few days ago in Great Lakes IL, I'm not sure what the address is since he hasn't had time to send me a letter yet. The recruiters wont tell me anything. Any one know another way to find a way to contact someone there?

Believe it or not this is a genuine question and I am just seeking to understand your position better (Hard to believe on YA sometimes, I know)

By environmental problems, I don't neccesarily mean global warming, per se. I don't want this to devolve into a global warming debate.

Rather, I am speaking more about polluted rivers and irresponsible industries polluting the air. There is firm science backing up that pollution is harmful to your health. Alot of conservatives support the second ammendment and enjoy hunting. It seems like some sort of environmentalism would be neccesary to make sure that your grandchildren will be able to enjoy hunting as well.

I'm seeking mature responses so that I can better understand your position.

with hillary, obama, edwards all saying they can't promise to remove troops in the next FIVE and a half years and all the republicans except ron paul being pro war, also.

ron paul has 47,000 volunteers. the most ever for a presidential candidate.
ron paul has 50% of ALL military campaign contributions.
ron paul has earned over 1,000,000 in the last 6 days from donations to close out the 3rd quarter.

if you are anti war, you need to look at ron paul.
support our military by getting them out of this unwinnable religious war.

Do they still preach it as fact? The book of mormon states that Hebrews were ancestors of the Indians...yet DNA evidence has PROVEN that the American Indians came from Asia, AND there is NO recorded documentation that EXIST today *outside of the book of mormon* that shows evidence of hebrew culture ANYWHERE in that region. hmm any thoughts?

You know, leaning so far right they have a back ache? Really conservative? How could someone be that way?
I don't know about you, but I can't stand it. I wouldn't go so far as to say I HATE them, but I strongly disagree with their views haha.

Yesterday, around midnight, in Somerville, I was about to cross an intersection on a green light. A cop car came from no where along the cross street, turned on its siren briefly just to get past the intersection. I braked as hard as I could, ABS came on, and I had to be two feet from crashing into it.

Today, I was second in line at a red light in Brighton and a cop car stopped behind me. It turned on its siren, so the car in front of me and I drove out into the intersection to let the cop through. The car in front of me was pretty close to being T-boned by a car from the cross-street.

In both cases, the cop car turned off its siren right after the intersection. I know this is just the way cops are these days, but is there really nothing we law-abiding taxpayers can do about their reckless behavior?

they risk there lifes and work much harder and there is more crimes in N.Y.C. than in long Island. she broke it at 11:00am & school nurse put ice on it for 10 min. & grab my girls arm said it was ok. wife picked her up at 3:15 notice big dip in arm, daughter was crying holding it against her wife took her to doctors was broken it 2 places. I am supporetive of the war, but I wonder if when all is said and done, and countless deaths later.. Will history look back many years from today and question our being in Iraq? And when will we be able to withdraw the troops for there?

K im doing this school essay on Police Officers who turn on the law. What happens when a police officer goes against the law?
