i went to the nyc corrections page
he was arrested on thursday, this morning it had a bail of 5000 and a bail of 7500 now it says in the spot where the bail was listed it says remanded

so my question is does that mean that he was bailed out or are they denying bail and he has to stay?

Remand means to revert the prisoner to the jurisdiction of the court where he was previously tried for retrial of the case when ordered by the appellate court.
