For me it has . I absolutely do not respect anything that comes from Moveon. . . . AND anyone who supports them . In fact I don't even care to hear anything from people who would support such an act . Sure Moveon and all of us have free speech , and that's cool . But we all have the freedom speak-out against it too. . . something some of our liberal brethren seem to forget .
So yes , this is a defining moment in my view . I've always been aware of Moveon and what they're up to , but chose to ignore them . Never spoke-out against them . But for me this was the final straw .

But what about you ? -- Has this Moveon ad been a defining moment for you too ?

Need to send complaint letter to Johnson and Johnson?
recently bought a no tears shampoo that burned my eyes and my 2 year olds. emailed complaint and got a refund check for the product, $3.99. I wish to return check with letter stating that this is an inadequate compensation. I am not looking for tons of $$$$, but 3.99 is just an insult, if it were your kids I am sure it would upset you that Johnson and Johnson put a 3.99 sales tag on your daughters eyes. any real suggestions?
READ BELOW FOR DETAILS:
1. I DID NOT CASH CHECK
2. I NEED THE MAILING ADDRESS MORE THAN I NEED POINTLESS COMMENTS ABOUT FRIVOLOUS LAWSUITS.
3. I AM NOT SEEKING LEGAL ACTION
4. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A NON-GENERAL LETTER THAT SAYS "HEY, WE ACTUALLY GIVE A @#%!"
5. NO ONE POURED SOAP IN ANYONES EYES, JUST WHAT CAME OFF HAIR IN SHOWER DILUTED.
6. NOT A JOKE, THE LACK OF ETHICS IN BUSINESS IS BEING PUSHED ASIDE FOR MORE PROFIT.

If I am innocent of a crime and run from the police, I've done something stupid. In our current real world, I won't argue that. But what have I done wrong, really?

I am fine with someone being arrested who is caught in the act of committing a crime. I think also that a provision should be made to arrest a person who was charged and convicted in court who (after being given the opportunity) chose not to appear in their defense.

Absent, these provisions, I think that the crime really comes down to "disrespecting a cop". I believe that this has led to abuses and could lead to even worse abuses.

What do you think?

I pay for my own healthcare and that of my family.

Where in the Constitution does it call for my tax dollars to go towards the cost of care for others?

Liberals say that conservatives dont care about the Constitution. Please direct me to the section that requires America to be a welfare state.

This is as ignorant as Bushs Shamnesty Bill.

I pay for my own, so should everyone else. Medicaide is in place for low income families.

An Oregon high school teacher wants to be able to pack heat due to a restraining order against an ex-husband, who has allegedly made threats to her and her children.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/csm/20070918/ts_csm/aselfdefense

If I were a parent, I could see it a lot of ways. The teacher has a right to defend herself against her potentially violent ex-husband. The teacher also has a right to defend herself against potentially violent students (at least at the high school I attended). But I can also see the concern of students attempting to steal the pistol from her (although I acknowledge it's not as likely if she has a license, and presuming that she would keep it on her at all times).

I mean, I can understand the school's policy of not wanting ANYONE who isn't a law enforcement officer to bring firearms on campus. But I also can't say that if I were the teacher that I would entrust school security to respond appropriately to my safety or that of my children and students.

Thoughts?

well, at least my opinions about it..

You know how there are hundreds of research places..some for cancer some for aids some for poisons some for dieabetes (ect) why cant the government put all of these centers together..make it one giant organization twords finding one cure at a time, all that funding all that information put together to help find the cures faster? (do you see what i mean)

basicly "work on cancer" when thats done "AIDS" and so on..

why not have every citizen in america send 5 dollars to the government to increase funding to strengthen security?
(or a giant fence)

why not change the first amentment by adding,
"applies to everyone over 18" at the bottom?

why not have the government schedual a meeting with the leader of alquida** (the terrorist dudes) and figure things out.. work on a settlement or actually learn why? they hate america. (if they actually do at all..i dont really trust our government)....and actually tell citizens the truth.

why not?

about the problems of this country. When will the citizens of the UK stand up and take back the nation that rightly belongs to them and not the upper class politicians.

All i see and hear is what's wrong with everything with no action behind it. I say get up off your couch and chair, say what needs to be said .

Vote for what you want and most of all, see to it that those who dont care or listen are soon unemployed.

This country was founded by hard working, just people of couarge who did not put up with this kind of manipulation by the government.

Were has the courage of the people im so proud of go. Has PC replace thier backbone. I am unafraid of free speach and being heard and voteing, I will stand shoulder to shoulder with anyone who has the guts to at least try.

I will stand toe to toe with those who try to rip us off or abuse us with power. why wont others.

I don’t understand how any woman could be fore the government regulating what they do with their bodies! That’s like saying please Mr. Government I can’t be trusted to make a decision about my body by my self, I need you to tell me what to do with my body.
Its like when the women’s right to vote was going on, there was women who felt like they shouldn’t be allowed to vote. Why are some women against their own freedom?
And like always, no bible quotes please!!!!!
