How can I completely understand the difference between a Congressman, a Senator, and a Representative?

I need to get these core people down, and fully understand what they are before I can learn more of the basics or American Government. Help?

congress is the senate and the house of representatives

each state is represented in the senate (by senators) for a total of 100 senators

each state is represented in the house of representative proportionally to it's population, a larger state will have more representatives, smaller states less, the total # of representatives is fixed at 435 members

Both Senators and Representatives are Congressmen. The senators sit on the Senate while the Representatives sit on The House of Representatives. Senators serve 6 year terms while Representatives serve 2 year terms. Each state has two Senators and the number of Representatives from each state is dependent on that state's population.
