Will all US conservatives have a conniption fit because the Dems will have won the war in Iraq which was something Bush could never do?

That's assuming that Hillary wins in November 2008.

Payback's hell. Nixon did the same thing to the Dems in Vietnam when he and Kissinger declared victory and brought the troops home.

If Bush cannot win a war, it is because, as was the case in Viet Nam, all the Libs in the U.S. don't want a victory.
Hillary would probably declare a victory; however, declaring a victory is not the same thing as having a victory.

Then about 75% of terrorists in Iraq will stop fighting and re-join the Iraqi army. Then Iraq can deal with their own problems, which is sad because the United States caused it. But then at least Americans will be out of the way and the Arab world will keep killing each other in the name of the same god like they have been doing for thousands of years. So then Hillary can drill for oil in Alaska and also use more natural resources to let us be less dependable on the MiddleEast.

Rush Limbaugh use to tell the American listening public every single day that Slobadon Milosevic was winning, yet somehow was not seen as unamerican at a time of war.

He will do the same if a Democrat is president this time

And since they all take their marching orders from him or someone very much like him...

I'm not exactly sure how this war could possibly be won. What would have to happen for you to declare victory? The people over there will just keep fighting like they have been for 2000 years. This war was pointless. Now we are trillions of dollars in debt and for what? So George could fulfill his daddy's wish? We aren't holding the terrorists back by having chaos in Iraq, that's for sure. I hate hearing that, "Let's fight them over there, so we don't have to do it here" crap.

I thought all of the liberals felt a "win" in Iraq was impossible! Hillary won't win the election and she wouldn't win in Iraq. If she were to win the election, she would pull the troops, Iran will move in and then she will have to decide what to do when Iran/Iraq is bombing the hell out of us and our allies. And what will be her response? She will blame the former administration for not informing her that there was a problem. HA! I weep for our country if Hillary is President.

sure they would freak out but theres no way we would win that fast.i dont think any huge victory will be achieved any time soon.we have screwed up incredibly bad so far and would need alot more troops to keep order in iraq and afghanistan.any type of victory bush wants to do b4 we leave wont happen in less than a decade.at least not they way he wants it.

Actually, we're withdrawing from a lost conflict that had no realistic exit strategy in sight. And since it's safe to say that the Malaki government doesn't INTEND to do anything which will unify his war-torn country, I'd say pulling out is a safe bet.

Why should we stay if he won't do a damned thing?
