if i have a dui on my record and a cop pulls me over can he search my car when he pulls this information?

No, it is your 5th amendment right. Unless of course, he smells alcohol or drugs, but if you are just driving and minding your own business there should be no reason for that.

Not unless he gave you permission, it was a term of probation, or you appeared to have been drinking, where he would be allowed to search for the source of the intoxicant. If you had not been drinking, just stopping for, say speeding, does not grant the officer to randomly search. Now, that being said, if nothing was located and you got to go, there is not a lot of recourse. You might file a complaint with the department.

As to the dogs mentioned above, the office does not have the right to detain you for the length of time to let the dogs out.

No not unless you give them permission so don't be stupid and say yes. Be prepared for them to try and trick or coerce you by saying stuff like 'if you have nothing to hide then why can't I look' and stuff like that. They can look around any place that you could reach from where you were sitting. but they're not supposed to search.

Informing the cops of your right not to be searched is probable cause these days.

Of course. They can use anything as probably cause. Committing a crime is definitely included.

no..... not without your consent of course he could call in the canine unit for a sniff and if there is a "hit" with the dog that's probable cause!

Any thing can be probable cause.
