As liberals, we need to get the troops out soon. We can't afford or acknowlege any good news from Iraq or it will undermine our progress.

When several million want a given person or party in power, but can never elect them because only Democrats and Republicans will be elected by the other 90 million voters, can they believe that this is a representative government? Would a system that allowed them to send their own representatives to congress be more fair? Is there a way to devise a system which allows any million voters that agree on a candidate to have representation? (There are a couple million libertarians, for example, who never get represented.)

Is there anyone on here who is or has been in the military who has been stationed in Germany?

I am wanting to know, what are the rules? My husband is in the army and he could be re-stationed to Germany if he re-enlists. I just want to know what are the rules? How many animals(pets) are we allowed to have? What type of vehicles would be alright to bring with us? What are the rules of the road(s) in Germany?

Please help me as I just want to know so I can keep it in mind.

Thank you!

I am not a racist I donot believe that the things I'm hearing on the news about illegal immigrants and Americans just believe racist when we live by laws and these people are breaking them by stealing our social security numbers to work isn't that a felony? Anyway if you follow the news mostly CNN Lou Dobbs you will learn that this is a huge problem that Americans feel strongly about but are afraid of being labeled racist, I think we all need to support what we have abbided in here in this country and that is our laws anyone breaking them should be prosecuted! We are not responsible for those who bodly walk and demand things from our country they need to march in Mexico as they are the ones who refuse to help there own. Americans stop hiding in the shadows we have a right to protect our lives and children our future. Just to add I would not feel so strongly about this if they just came here the right way and also that the tax payer's didn't have to pick up the bill for these people

I believe it is because they are constantly outsmarted and outwitted by a guy they think is a dimwit: George W. Bush. I also think they're just miserable in general because that's what liberalism does to you.

This got me thinking when I watched Full Metal Jacket when Private Pyle kills the drill instructor. What would have happend to him, or a person in real life, if he didn't commit suicide. Would they be tested for mental illness or stress, is there a private court for military crimes?

I know that the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is my most cherished privilege and the one defining test I use to determine whether I will vote for a candidate (indeed an entire political party).

If Gore lost in 2000 by a few hundred votes in Florida, could it be that the Florida gun crowd is what tipped the balance in his disfavor? Certainly, they must have amounted to more than a few hundred votes, and surely most of them voted against him.

In this next election, which I predict will be very close, could Hillary lose by a slim margin because of her gun control stance?

Is it worth it to you Dem's to lose over this one issue?

I say, that if the Dem's want us to sacrifice for universal healthcare, they're going to have to sacrifice something themselves and allow us to keep our freedoms. Because, there are more than a few of us (myself included) who vote straight Republican ticket ONLY because of our desire to preserve our 2nd Amendment freedoms.

Thoughts?

I think I may have a problem. A while ago I developed some muscle tension in my neck and head, and I went to the Physical Therapist for it a few times and he resolved it. But I forgot to mention that in my medical screening when I processed for the Air Force. so now that I'm in, I'm worried about it flaring up in Basic and that they'll get my medical records and see that on there and discharge me for 'fraudulent enlistment.' I guess my question is what should I do? and also can they even look that up? Aren't my records private unless I give them consent to obtain them?

I don't think it makes sense that Democrats support the murder of babies but do not think it is ok for two same gender people that love each other to spend the rest of their lives together. They will denounce same sex marriage in the name of religion but stick up for abortion? In God's eye I would have to think they are at least the same amount of sinning. Now I don't mean to open a debate about abortion, I know it is a very tough issue and nobody is actually FOR abortion. I just don't get why Democrats seem to have this double standard. It's ok to to apply your religious standards on gay couples but not pregnant women?
