Yes because that would have been the truth.

But then again Bush probably even prepared him some BS answer to that question too.

The dems were on tv bashing what the general was saying before he even said it. They dont care whatsoever about the truth of the situation in Iraq. They have a political agenda to push and are pushing it.

Dont you people think it would have been a heck of a lot easier for the president to find a way to back out of Iraq a long time ago to save political face? Yet he didnt. He hasnt even come close to wavering when it comes to Iraq. Could it be he actually believes stabilizing Iraq is in the best interest for the US? After all the crap he has gotten from all sides he is holding steady. He is actually listening to the generals on the ground and fixing mistakes from before and trying to do what they are suggesting.

All of you out there that know so much more than the generals on the ground and the president of the US, what exactly are you doing with your great intellect and talents other than bashing on those actually doing something.

In the liberal universe 2 + 2 doesn't always equal 4. Students are no longer told if their answer is incorrect, might hurt someone's feelings

Of course not! They'd argue with you for days that even if he got the answer right, it's only because he's under orders from Bush to say it that way and then they'd start attacking from another angle, and another one, and so on.........anything to keep the focus off of them and their lack of any alternative plans----due of course, to the fact that they spend no time whatsoever contemplating the ramifications of their plan to "cut and run"..... UUUGGGHHH! Don't get me started!!
Hope you get lots of answers to this!
