Okay so my friend called me up about a speeding ticket. He admits that he was speeding but the officer also said he failed to yield when told to. But the thing was there was construction going on where he could've stopped so he couldn't have stopped there. He then drove on letting the officer follow him and stopped at the safest spot away from construction, but he was charged with a misdemeanor for not yielding. The officer didn't believe that he had trouble stopping and charged him for that. What can he do? He'll pay the fine and go to traffic school if he has to, but it's the misdemeanor charge that worries him. This is apparently his first ticket too.

My daughter and her husband are going thru a rough patch. So my daughter decided to move out and buy a house on her own. Everything was going fine until we found that her husband also has to sign a waiver form on the property. Not sure who is responsible to notify us regarding this but We were not aware of this until the last moment. Now my son-in-law is not ready to sign the waiver. Now the seller and his agent are planning to sue my daughter because we are unable to close the escrow. We tried to negotiate with my son-in-law but things did not go well. Can anyone help us here and tell us the options we have right now. we certainly dont want the lawsuit and we are already losing money that was paid as deposit for the contingency period...

This may be an obvious question...

I have friends that have finished basic training and said it wasn't drastic but I've heard reports saying soldiers are trained to appreciate violence until it dosen't phase them.

How much of this occurs? Does anyone else think this would be wrong? Is this necessary for any army to be victorious?

“Democrats reject general's Iraq plan”
Does this headline make anyone else upset? I should first say I am a democrat . But it is my view that if we go to war we shouldn’t tie out men’s arms behind their back before pushing them out to fight. I understand the view that we shouldn’t be there but to me, we should go all out or go home…. How does everyone else feel? Do you think it's ok for congress to tell the army how many men they should or shouldn't have?Or how they should or shouldn't attack? Or is it there place only to tell them when and where to fight.

how come no other buildings collapsed from "radiant shock waves" or were these schock waves you republicans speak of just happened to be aimed at building 7?

Anyone have a link or info on who the tenants of building 7 were? for that matter the tenants of WTC 1 and 2.

so we have bush's little brother running security, a mgaical collapse of building 7, and all of a sudden an invasion into Iraq.

Let us not forget the no bid contracts to Haliburton. Not the fact that after 911 members of the bin laden family were allowed to fly out of America.

I mean call me a conspiracy theorist. But at least my eyes are open.
