Your instructor needs to stipulate what they recommend by way of "important ideology" Liberalism, by way of definition isn't politically important it fairly is an ideology of a important government Conservativism is an area ideology, the place it believes interior the community government to have greater skill than the important government the different one is YOUR homework (yet think of perhaps anarchism, espousing no government in any respect)

Liberals tend to believe that they live for the future; that values change with the times and circumstances; that dramatic change is inevitable and necessary for social and practical reasons; liberals tend to believe in fundamental equality of all people; that government intrusion in the interest of equality is acceptable and advisable; that the Constitution is a "living document" subject to modern interpretation; and that direct democracy is preferable to representative democracy.

Conservatives, on the other hand, tend to believe that the past was better than the present is; that traditional values are superior to modern ones; that change is to be undertaken only gradually and with utmost caution; that people are not innately equal; that government interference in public life should be kept to a minimum; that the Constitution is finite and absolute; and that representative democracy is superior to direct democracy.

Hope this helps.

Liberal comes from the Latin libre meaning free. Liberals are for change, conservatives are for "conservation", moving backwards, or sometimes very slow progress.

This is the broad definition, every country and time period has had liberals and conservatives. At the moment in the US the Democrats are liberals and the Republicans are conservatives, but it hasn't always been that way.

Only a Marxist can describe the LOGIC behind Liberalism and that isn't me.
The IDEOLOGY is everything is equal, and America needs a totalitarian dictatorship to enforce it.
A rich man is equal to a poor man so take his wealth and give it to the poor man.
A dead baby is equal to a live baby so killing them is okay.
An AIDS carrier is equal to a healthy person so don't restrict his sexual perversions.
You already understand their ideology.
Liberalism is a mental disorder.

Ok.....let's see....easy.......ummm......well......no not that way..........ohhhh....no not that either.............alright try this
1) throw tax payer's money at it until it goes away, has enough that it's too much trouble to go to the bank, or dies from monetary over exposure.
2) what is good for America is BAD
3) what is bad for America is GOOD
4) hate patriots and the military
5) keep your communist party enrollment card hidden at all times
That's about as easy as I can describe it without a lot of gory details.
