to foreign oil company bidding?
This is one of the 18 benchmarks.
The 'Iraq Hydrocarbon Act' requires Iraq to do this.
If Iraq is a sovereign nation shouldn't they decide if the want to keep a Nationalized oil industry to provide for their people???

And wouldn't it be a good idea to put the children of America to work in factories?

Children are good workers. They are easy to boss around and will believe that they can be punished for the slightest infractions.

This is the kind of workforce that will return us to greatness!!

With all the abusive interest rates and fees , lax credit, toxic imports, and tainted food - this seems like it could be needing some attention. But I don't see it.

Our economy has created 1.6 million jobs in the last 12 months, and 8.22 million since August 2003 when the labor market began its turnaround. Private employment increased by 24,000 jobs in August, marking the 48th consecutive month of private job growth. The unemployment rate remained VERY VERY low at 4.6 percent, below the average of each of the past four decades!

Thanks GWB!

**Iraq: We have been there for over 4 years and nearly everything they predicted was wrong.
Once the U.S. dismantled the Iraq military it was our responsibility to keep insurgents and Al Qaeda out of Iraq. That obviously was unsuccessful. Now our soldiers are fighting Al Qaeda, insurgents, and warring factions within Iraq.
**Afghanistan: The Taliban is regrouping in Afghanistan. So is Al Qaeda. The poppy fields in that country are all time highs.
**No child left behind: Is not helping students or teachers.
**Immigration reform: Still no significant improvement there.
**Unsecured U.S. borders and ports: 6 years after 9/11 borders and ports are still wide open.
**War on drugs: Still 20 years after Reagan started this war the drugs in this country run like rivers! Anyone can buy any drug anywhere in the U.S.
**Bush keeps appointing people to hold Dept. head jobs that are unqualified to say the least. Example Alberto Gonzales.

How Liberals will watch and listen to see what the disaggree or aggree with, or will they simply wait for their "experts" to tell them what they disaggree with?

I know she, of course, has the right to do so, and that other celebrities do it also, but she is bigger and more influential than almost anybody. So far she was appealing to all Americans, but will that change now that she is taking sides and being very vocal about it? What would happen if Letterman, Leno and others choose their candidates and start promoting them? So is it right? Will people listen to her? And has she become more powerful than she (and we) can handle?

OK I am a Corporal In the Marine Corps I have been in for almost 6 years, I got out in 2005 and came back in, a year and a half I came back in and I stationed in Okinawa Japan recently. I was dumbfounded when I got here because of the ways Corporals were acting with Junior Marines, I have tried to talk to them and tell them that this is not how things are suppose to be but all I get is told I dont know what I am talking about and that I just need to go away cause I am an old grouchy man I am 26 hardly think that is old but ok well here it is I grew up in a different Corps and Marines will Know what I mean and now its so lax that Junior Marines will not stand at Parade Rest unlees you say something and for the Marines reading this that should say it all right there, if you are not a Marine please understand that the Marine Corps is about Discipline, Respect, and Tradition but that is quickly fading and I need help to get it back to ensure Marines are the best no matter what.
