Of course. Most Americans don't want to see any more dead bodies in the streets of the USA and they don't want to be responsible for the resulting genocide that will happen in Iraq should we tuck tail and run away. Do you? Why do you think the hippies from the 1960s aren't out in the streets again? Its because most of them have grown up to realize that their actions resulted in 6 Million women, children and intellectuals being slaughtered in Vietnam when we ran away and they don't want a coward's blood on their hands again.

What like all the dead bodies and pieces of dead bodies we found after the terrorists attacks of 9/11? If the politicians did their job and let the military do theirs we would have mopped up in Iraq years ago.

Answer: JFK and LBJ saw all the bodies coming back from Nam...From an undeclared conflict and the democrats at the time said...Full Speed Ahead!
Are you historically ignorant or just blindly political hateful?
Teddy Kennedy is personally responsible for 58,000 deaths, plus one in the bay...but by now who's counting the atrocities of the murdering filth that is America's left.
Reagan took down a wall...Bush betray and will not build one!
Issues all around it seems.

Of course not. The media doesn't show but a small fraction of the horrible deaths in the middle east. If you really want to see pics of dead bodies, including poor little children, then you have to watch Al Jazeera on satellite dish (Lebanese news). Or, look it up on line.

Also shows the Palestinian deaths which overwhelm the Israeli deaths. Children losing their parents. women left single and in concentration camps. all in the name of GOD, so they say. I don't know what kind of God would instruct genocide and murder.

That is a tactic Hanoi Jane and her mentors in the North used in Nam. During WW2, we were loosing 8,000 per week. In Nam, 54,000 in 10 years.

In Iraq, about 450 per year, which is below the murder rate in most large American cities. Its below the death rate on the nations highways for drunk or impaired drivers. Its still below the suicide rate for most states.

How many more people needed to die on 911 for weak Americans to stand strong and push of government to finish what was started, and then bring the troops home???

How many suicide bombings in America will it take?? How many more people have to loose one they love, shopping at a mall, and getting killed by their terrorists???

This stuff goes on daily in France, Israel, Spain and many other countries around the world and if we don't flex our muscles and kick but, terrorists will again revisit our shores with a very high cost.

I have seen the dead bodies and I have had friends over there but I also see the threat from Islamic fascists and know the war on terror where ever it is fought is needed and that freedom never comes without the blood of our troops. What would you say during WWII when we lost thousands in one day.

What is your contribution to this cause? I'd really like to hear your ideas.... You are going to take and disgrace fallen soldiers by making such a foolish and completely ridiculous statement? Human loss is terrible...but with out it we would have a king still. So why don't you take your whiney self out of this section on yahoo answers.

No, and not many do now. If they showed the bodies coming back, and I think we have the right to see them, the war protesters would quadruple over night. The bush administration knows that and banned photographs of the flag draped caskets right from the beginning.
