I just read an interesting response to a question that made me think. The response went something like... Okay, keep this nation divided by making excuses for Bush.

I'm a conservative who is not a big supporter of Bush, because, he's NOT a conservative and yes, he's made many mistakes. I do have many friends who are supporters of our President and that certainly doesn't keep us divided. I respect their opinions.

It seems to me that ideology is keeping us divided more than anything. Am I wrong?

Speaking for myself.. I'm for smaller government, less government control, and more responsibility taken from the feds and turned over to states and municipalities, therefore, giving us, the citizens more control. I'm against corporate monopolies and allowing big business to call the shots. I am for private enterprise.

So what in your opinion is keeping us so divided. Now's your chance to let it all hang out!

In yet another attempt of a foreign government to end US immigration laws and create a no-holds-barred open southern border scenario, the Mexican Senate has "ruled" that the USA has no right to deport illegal-alien Mexicans from its country. Citing the recent ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) deportation of, at least, two-time-offender illegal alien Elvira Arellano, Mexican Senator Humberto Zazue said: "We cannot remain quiet in view of this injustice and must ask for firm action from our authorities!" Firm action from our authorities? What is Zazue advocating? Increased violence from Mexican "authorities" at our southern border, perhaps? Is this another step in Mexico's plan to take portions of the US as Mexican territories?

Ok, were we were living (Ohio), we recieved a 3 day notice, put on our door August 5th...We left there August 8th ( @ like 3 in the morning to be exact) We now are living in N.Carolina (because of family issues) and today I recived a certified letter stating thatI am summoned to appear in court on Sept 11th. It says "Summons in forcible entry and detainer with claim for money damages" There was NO damage to the apartment whatsoever, BUT is this because I did NOT return my apartment door keys? What do I do, I cannot make it up to Ohio by then and I have never been through an eviction like this. We left in the 3 days like we were suppose to, the only thing I can think of is because of the keys, because it also states " SInce on or about August 10th, we have and still do unlawfully and forcibly detain from the plaintiff possession of the following premise, our OLD address" Do I mail him the keys? I have proof that we didnt live there and were IN NC on the 8th!! Please help! Thank u

My son received a citation so I went into the Local Magistrate office to ask a few question. I asked how much he needed to pay and if I was allowed to bring in the citation the next day with my sons signature Well the lady took the citation which my son never signed and handed my a suspension paper stating my sons license was suspended as of that time.My son never signed the citation pleading either way not guilty or guilty.
The suspension shouldn't go into affect until he pleads and he didn't even have the paper 2 days which I know he had 10 days to plead. We see a lawyer but I think his due process was violated.Do you think he could get off since his constitutional rights were violated by law.
The constitution Fourth Amendment and The Fourteenths amendment. What do you think?

One of my father's staff is gonna sue my daddy because he said my daddy scolded and yelled at him at work. He wants to sue my daddy for discrimination and harassment. My daddy now is in a very low mood and doest want to say too much. He told me he just wanted to run far far away to find a place where no one else exists. I am wondering if it is really a serious problem to him. I am not pleaing for my daddy, because to my knowledge, getting criticism from Boss is nothing but a great goad to improve ourselves. How come those people are so fragile? Can anybody help to explain should the staff sue my daddy, my daddy will win at last? Or give me some good suggestions on how to soothe my daddy? I was tossing and turning on the bed thinking about a good wayout to help my daddy get rid of the worry. someone here can help me.....

My daddy has inherited heart problem. if my daddy kept in such a mood i am afraid his LCL will go up high. It is quite dangerous to him....

Thanks!!!!!

I posted a question recently and got some responses that helped me to realize something I never had before. Americans are being affected negatively by illegal immigration. Here is an answer I got on my previous question:

"...I and my fellow workers who lost jobs to illegals who work for less pay..."

I also got this answer:

"...I cannot get any gov medical care & I can't even get my son on Medicaid because we earn 3 bucks a month OVER their limits, but an illegal can get free medical care, food stamps, free housing, have babies here ...."

What I'm saying is people are loosing their jobs because illegals can afford to live off of pennies an hour. Americans can't because of taxes. People out there can't afford to have medical insurance for their families, but illegals can get any medical work done for free. It isn't right. Americans are being affected by this worse than anyone else. I would like to know what you American pro-illegals think of this.

would you conceal everything and give congress further ammunition

or

would you just reveal EVERYTHING since your guy is innocent and make a democratic congress look like a bunch of fools who are impeding your administration, you have a golden opportunity to make them look like idiots, wouldn't you take this if your guy was innocent and leave no room for futher questions

Personally, I think the Federal Government, and all government for that matter, has no right to stick their noses into dog fighting. Those dogs, pitbulls, LOVE TO FIGHT. They are FIGHTERS by nature. it is their NATURAL instinct to FIGHT. When one pitbull sees another, it attacks. it's that simple.

So why would the federal govt or any government have anything to say about something that is, in ACTUAL REALITY, NATURAL? And what is it with all the people who think dog's that are born to fight to the death (that is their purpose in life, by instinct) are more important than the Iraqi women, children and of course the less valuable of all, men are being slaughtered for the benefit of the Federal Reserve? Why is it that people care about these stupid killer dogs and let people be murdered for years on end?

I don't get it.

I can't wait to hear some of the intelligent remarks that will discount human life and make the life of a DOG more important. Remember, Bush TORTURES people.

they drive on the same roads, they use police the same, firemen the same, laws are made, one vote is cast per person. That would be like them going into a restaurant and me (a person who is nowhere near rich) going into a restaurant and me paying 2 bucks for a hamburger and them paying 50 dollars for a hamburger because they can afford it, whereas i can only afford 2 bucks for a hamburger.

There were two books the library said was water damaged. I paid one of the book because some of the pages stuck together even though I didn't do it. The other book is just worn out which has a small water mark and some wrinkle. I said I don't want to pay for the book that's just worn out. The supervisor of circlation suggest to split the charge. I still think it's not fair.

Mexico for those following the legal path.

This is outrageous. If passed, these illegals would be put in front of those that are waiting to immigrate legally. Should we all call to get this bill halted? Rewarding an illegal felon? Didn't I say this issue was not dead because she was deported? Bills HR 1557 and H.R.2182 Title HAVE NOT BEEN STOPPED!!
