They are immigrants. They don't have rights. How are they able to protest? I'm not against them coming here, they are just going to have to put up with the 10 year wait list to become a citizen. If they don't like that, they can fix their own country. There's enough of them here to make a reform in their own country, but they would rather come here and take advantage of the American way.

I heard that the military charges soldiers for everything. Food, clothes, supplies, ect. The person I heard this from was in the Navy, but is it the same for any of the US armed forces?

If this is true, how is it possible, or ethical, to CHARGE people to put their lives on the line for our country? It doesn't make sense. Is there a valid reason to not just give our soldiers the supplies they need to protect and serve us? I thought that's where the taxes go....?

The closer we get to the end with no return, the happier these people get.

Now they are even training religous clergy to control the masses during martial law. Having them tell their church congregations to: "Just turn in your guns, follow orders and do what they say!"

This is getting insane!

I'll bet you Neocon right wing religous freaks, can't wait for the end of the world.

Revelation never said anything about the rightious right helping Lucifer in the destruction of human life through greed and war.

But - there is no doubt - we are in end times

Too bad that your siding with evil guarantees you a place in hell and not in paradise.

Granted, I am not an accountant or a tax specialist. I have, however, been on both sides of the financial spectrum

Why is there such a common notion to tax the poor less and the rich more? Don't the wealthy deserve to keep the fruits of their labor as much as the less fortunate? Why isn't there just some kind of flat percentage that is taxed across the board?

What do you think?

A lot of people have asked if Barack Obama is black enough to get support from black voters. But I think a much better question is this "Is Rudy Giuliani to ethnic to get the Republican nomination & to be elected president?"Because every president in the history of the United States has been a White man of Northern European descent. And we have only had 1 Catholic president.Rudy Giuliani is a socially liberal Italian-Catholic from New York.Do you think his ethnicity could hurt him with some Rebublican primary voters?Or with American voters in general if he gets the nomination for president?

It seems to me that a lot of people on the Left, mostly the followers of guys like Michael Moore, take the issue of terrorism as a joke. Why? It's an important topic. This isn't a left or right issue, it's an issue of protection of the United States of America. Am I wrong here?

I'll lay my cards out on the table and I'm a Conservative. But how come we can't communicate with people on both sides of the aisle? I'm always willing to listen to the ideas on the Left but it doesn't seem the Left want to hear the ideas of ppl on the Right. Why?

Can we see how opposing the welfare state doesn't mean you hate poor people - doesn't even necessarily mean you don't want to give to poor people voluntarily?

Can we see how the government's just taking your property to "give" to one cause, whatever you might think of it, sets a precedent for the government's just taking it to do anything else it wants - like build bridges to nowhere?

Can we see how the government's enforcement of what some people see as a moral obligation to feed the poor sets a precedent for the government's enforcement of what other people think are our moral obligations, such as heterosexuality and certain religious beliefs?

I am currently dating a guy in the Coast Guard. Next year I plan to move out to the West Coast where he is stationed. If it works out, and we get married, what kinds of benefits will I receive as a spouse of an active member of the Coast Guard? Will these benefits disappear once his contract with the Coast Guard expires?

Thanks!

I think it is utter rubbish to have had arrested and charged the man for attempted rape and it was not a real person on the other hand.
The detective encouraged the man by playing along and enticing him further... no real parent would have done that and in a real case both the parent and the man would hve been held accountble and would be facing charges.
Chances are that this man would have never had the opportunity to do that but here came this fictitious woman who made this possible....
this case is not real so counsel the man and send himon his merry way and stop embarrassing him and his children on TV...
it was not real and if it were real both he and the prent woudl be in trouble.

I am interested in becoming a seal after college and my thinking is the safest bet to become an officer in that community would be to join the rotc program in college rather than ocs later.. i have heard that some rotc programs dont have what it takes to put an officer into the spec. war. community and I am wondering if there is any merit to this. If there are any SEALs out there or guys who have been to bud/s your help would be appreciated.

Many Thanks
