If the peacock really did lay the eggs (not the peahen), then forget the eggs, the peacocks worth a fortune!

It's important to know that because Peacocks normally leave the egg laying to the hens. Mythologically speaking, eggs laid by a peacock would hatch into peacockatrices--which you could make a significant fortune selling on E-bay. Although you could make a lot more by selling exclusive rights to this most appropriate corporate mascot to MSNBC.
Just be sure to wear reflective sunglasses when you handle the chicks and watch out for the spurs. They start producing venom at about six weeks of age.
