My mother-in-law accidentally shipped a $300 blender to an eBay buyer BEFORE he sent a payment. He received the item and I was never able to hear from him again.

Stupid mistake we can all agree on that, but what do I do in such case? I live in MN and he lives in CA. He won't respond to any of my emails (both the nice and the not-so-nice ones).

Should I bother the local police about this? Isn't he obligated as a side in this transaction to pay for this item whether or not it was shipped first? Isn't that like in a restaurant, that you get the food then pay?

Gore has refused all debate challengers to date. Joseph Bast, president of The Heartland Institute, noted, "Maybe it's because climate alarmists tend to lose when they debate climate realists. Or because most scientists do not support climate alarmism." The Heartland Institute has run more than $500,000 of ads in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Washington Times promoting a debate.

When I was 14 and 15 I broke my arm with the second time needing surgery with a plate and 5 screws. Recently I joined the National Guard and when I go to drill, I do exceptionally well in all my physical training except the pushup part. My right arm starts to give out and I start to get a pain and discomfort in the area where my fracture used to be. I'm about to turn 19 and I really don't want this to lead to a discharge because the army is very important to me and I really want to leave for basic in October. I'm in good shape but when my DS told me that I needed to work on my pushups, I did so and I started to go to Bally's to work on my pushups and yet again when my instructor was helping me out, the discomfort and pain set in again in my right arm. Throughout high school I never did well in the push ups for the similar reason. Could there be something wrong with me after all these years? When i went to MEPS they took xrays and said it looked normal. Regular Dr said my arm was fine?!

i think its funny. well, i dont support it!! i hope i already made that clear, especially to all you pro illegals! i believe in Legal immigration by following the long and hard process all legal immigrants have gone through. it doesnt matter what situation you're in or how poor you are or where you come from: we cant blame America for all the problems in other countries. all who want to legalize should get in the back of the line, and all those who refuse to go the legal way need to get deported! i also think the government needs to cut off welfare and benefits for illegals(i think that would take care of the anchor baby problem for the most part). thats my stand on this issue. many pro illegals might call me ignorant or racist, but i can expect that! i know im going to be attacked by pro illegals. ok, im up for a debate, even in Spanish!! BUT, i just want my question answered, which i already stated above.

My husband and I picked up an old 16 mm military camera at a yard sale today. We're hoping to find out if it has a resale value to a collector, or what the history is of this type of camera. It is made my Bell & Howell Co. The metal id tag on the camera says G.S.A.P Camera 16 mm, 24 volts. It came in the original wooden box along with a timer that says "U.S. Army Air Corps." Any ideas? Thanks!

I watched some of his debates, read a few articles he wrote, listened to him talk a bit...

And I walked away wondering...

Why aren't there more republicans like him out there???

If this guy, through some miracle, gets the republican nomination, I'm voting republican.

It's guys like him that make me realize, it's not the parties that are the problem.. it's the politicians.

Uruk orc platform:

Pro-Death: Orcs are pro-war. pro-abortion, for the death penalty, and for everyone having plenty of deadly weapons.

Taxes/ Economy: We don't really care since we don't have much income, but we would prefer to be able to do whatever we like.

Social issues: Laws? Whatever. The only law we need is someone bigger than us to lead. Might makes right.

Education: Huh?

Corruption: Good.

Religion: We follow the Red Eye kind of religiously... Not having that taxed would be better.

Leadership: We prefer strong leaders that can whip us into a frenzy.

I don't understand why we have to send law abiding citizens to war, whether they be volunteer or drafted.

Why don't we let prisoners do this for us instead? They'd probably also appreciate the opportunity to achieve something important and useful while serving their time

I would like to hear your views about this.
And by economic justice I mean the growing gap between rich and poor, the lack of economic security for working class Americans, the unclear economic future for the majority of Americans who don't go to college, and erosion of public services like health care, senior care, education, housing, and transportation that used to provide a safety net for the working class who are, let's not forget, the overwhelming majority of us.

Who has promised to do anything specific about ANY of this?

I work at a bar/restaurant in SC, and they want their employees to take a course that is not a statewide mandatory liquor service course. The restaurant/bar is mandating that we take it, and requiring that we pay a $25 fee for the coursebook, all of this on a day off. Is this legal? If they consider a course mandatory (in my layman's estimation), they should front the cost of the materials. Help!

alot of hispanics refer to themselves as "latin Americans"- does the first group have more pride in being American?

They are all immigrants?...why do some embrace this country more than others?........out of all the above mentioned countries Mexico is the worst off....yet they are least proud of the title American? without the denomination?

Can someone please explain this to me in a way that clarifies the difference?
