"...There are a lot of them that are going to come home with pathogens in their blood because of Halliburton and they don't even know to get tested for it. Uh, unless somebody tells them; and I'm sure Halliburton is not going to be the company that tells them."

By reading the Miranda rights it states if you cannot afford an attorney one would be appointed for you, can a case proceed against someone leading to incarceration without a lawyer, especially if the offense was criminal in nature and led to the incarceration of a person???

I am applying for a job as a county dispatcher in Texas. The application asks if you have ever been convicted of a crime in civilian or military court, and for this purpose, conviction of a criminal offense includes paid fine, time served, placed on probation and court ordered restitution. Do minor traffic violations (oper. w/o registration and defective muffler) count as a misdemeanor, felony, or should I not list these, as they are my only legal offenses? Thanks for your help.

It should be geared toward inmates whom actually made a mistake or two in life, have gone in the wrong path due to bad luck or lack of employment. There are many inmates/ humans who deserve a second chance and would take advantage and do right.

I see everyday people complain about how aweful USA is with the nowhere near affordable housing rates, flood of illegal immigration, and heartless corrupt politicians but compared to a few years ago America is a great place to live. Even in todays time it is a hell of alot better than most other countries. Do people complain just because they have the right to?

There are more women on the planet compared to men and yet we still let men control us. We as women are better off without men! Men do absolutely nothing except start wars, poverty, and corruption. These men are savages! I say we divide the Earth in half one side of the Earth just for women while the other side is just for men. The only thing we'll need from a man is his sperm but I bet we'll find some way to procreate without their sperm. Afterall the only useful thing of a man is his sperm and thats it!

A friend and I have been hearing rumors about a bill heading to congress about re-instating the draft. Does anyone know any details about this? Not to mention I had a friend who wanted to enlist after dropping out of school and she was told to lose weight. Could I get out of this for being too fat too? Not gonna lie - I'm a chunky chick- I hover around 200 lbs. Does anyone know any more?

I think we can all agree except for the fascists, that Savage is protected in the Constitution with the first amendment. And there is a 10 million+ strong audience for Savage, so he certainly has people who agree with some of what he says.
Long live Savage!!!

(And don't get the wrong impression from that headline, the KKK act was passed to protect people against the KKk from gov retribution, like Savage should be protected from gov retribution.)

Another question would be if its even relevant to focus on what religious beliefs a president, or future president, has?
We have had many presidents with various beliefs and faiths, but does their faith (religion) have to do a olot with the way the govern?
Why or why not?...

If I ran as an Independent candidate for president and promised that I would eliminate the national debt due to my personal enormous wealth, would you vote for me? In my example I have 400 trillion dollars of personal wealth and promised to write a check to the treasury for 10 trillion dollars to eliminate the national debt. My only contention would be that a democratic president would be elected (or myself as an independent). If you knew that I would personally pay off the national debt and would forbid trade defects, would you vote for me?

I would write the check, even if I weren't elected, but if a republican president were elected, I would tear up the check. How would you vote, knowing that I would pay all debts of the United States? I would also give a trillion dollars to homeless people and make sure that all HS grads had the money to go to college.
