Ask her: may I visit you first?
Watch for her reaction.

She may be a scam artist.

Long time ago (12 years or so) I helped one American guy to marry a Russian woman. He was smart enough to come and meet her parents. Everything else was just fine.

Actually, that woman asked me to make some checks on him.
She had to be sure he isn't a slave trader.

I know you don't want to hear this but you asked the question, so you are asking for opinions. Be very, very careful. It is a well known fact a good share of these Russian ladies are scam artist's, actually the bigger share are scam artist's. Talking a long, long time does not mean a thing. They have nothing but time and patience when they are scamming, its a job. Win a few, loose a few. She can be on the phone all day with many different men and making lots of money scamming them all. Hey, its your life but be very very careful, you may wish you never heard the phrase, Russian lady.

There are a lot of scammers working through Long Distance Relationship brokers.

The only sure way to be certain is to marry and settle into a life together. In 60yrs you will know for certain :P

For now, go to Russia to visit. This will serve 2 purposes. 1 you will meet her family and they will get to know the Canadian taking their little girl away from them & 2 it will make it more likely that she is honest if things look good when you're there. Many scams involve faked photos & personal info, so if you find the lady you've gotten to know when you arrive she's that much more likely to be honest :)

After you've spent some time with her in Russia then get married there with her family and then apply to bring your wife back on a Family Class Immigrant visa

No--don't do it, man. She has a Russian boyfriend, I promise you. When she gets here, she'll change, eventually she will poison you and she'll take everything for herself and the guy she's with now. She may have already told you that she has a brother. Russian women love to poison.

Find someone like yourself and have a good life.

Get her on over there , but you better ask her if her brother and her friends belong to the Russian Mafia, before you start wondering how to get her over here. Because you may start liiving below the ground in a cold shallow grave, when they come for a visit to check you out.

Really Sonny, do be very careful.Believe all of the messages you have recieved, there is a scam out there.
Something like this happened to my own son.My husband is Hungarian and my son was taken in by a very smart and pretty Hungarian girl.It is a rather long and sad story. I will cut to the chase if I can.
We went on a family vacation to Hungary in 2000.Our son was a naive 24 year old Cal. valley boy who didn't know much about things.
He met a Hungarian girl here and feel in love. He spent money on her like crazy and promised to send for her to come to the USA for a visit. He did send for her and she stayed for 6 months all expences paid by my son.He even got a 2 bdrm. apt. and a Mercedes Benz for her to tool around in while he was at work.
She went back home to Hungary and 6 months later he visited her again. He returned to the states to work and save .all of this time he was sending her money every month to live on so she could just be happy and go to art school.
We all retuned for another visit to Hungary and our son decided to stay in Europe and live with her and her mom for the next year. They then were married in Europe and he returned home to work 2 full time jobs while she waited in her country for all of her US paperwork to go through.
She arrived in the states one year later with her dog,cat and all of her designer clothes that my son bought for her.
Her true colors came out strong after she landed in the states. Whitin 2 months they were divorced. She was running around with men she met while my son was working. She got the idea of filling a false abuse charge on him, we believe someone told her how to do it. He was jailed over night and had to hire lawyers and pay court fees ect. All that time he moved back home with us and still paid all of her expenses since he still was in love.
Finally we helped him break away from her spell, it was hard and he is still having legal problems from that time.
Good luck ,be careful,Our son is now 31 years old and wasted allot of his youth on false love.
