When does an owner know when to put one down? What are the symptoms of when it is best to pull the plug? Please make a list so I can see if it is necessary...yet. When our government was young, it was responsive and obedient, most of the time. Lately, it has been running around with others and has been acting as if it is only feigning devotion to my family. I fear it may turn into a liability before long. If you have had problems with your government and this type of weird bloating syndrome, please share clues, suggestions or other family histories, etc about what they did when theirs became destructive to domestic interests, regardless of how well they fed them.

Was there a war in the USA in the year 1893 or 1894, and what was it called....and does anyone know if there is a site that has death name listings for this? ( Trying to find if my great grandpa was in this war and killed: if there was a war these 2 years.)

I have very strong opinions about this question, but I'd like to see what people think about the role of government in society. What services should or shouldn't the government provide? When do you think they've overstepped their bounds? And how do we keep them constrained? How much should we be willing to pay to provide this? Please be specific, as terms like, "providing for the common good" can be easily interpreted to mean whatever you want.

I want to know if anyone can help. My 16 year old boy was arrested a few hours ago. The police said they would call me when I could pick him up. They did NOT read him his maranda rights, finger printer him and took his picture. ( I was not there for any of this, they arrested him at my home) All of this is because he got very loud with a police officer. Is this legal?

If most gays are born that way, and are not attracted to the same sex, do they have the ability to comprehend that straight people are attracted to each other and why?

I know that on my own behalf, I can't imagine being attracted to someone of the same sex and am wondering if they feel the same way towards us. Not being able to understand how straight people can be attracted to each other because it's something that they're incapable of feeling? Just wondering, and it would really be interesting to read some responses.

Thanks. :)

Asked if Obama himself had a favorite song he would like to sing, the presidential frontrunner broke out into an admirable rendition of “Mexico Lindo y Querido,” a song by Latin pop artist Maria Jose Quintanilla. The song, which translates into "Beautiful and Beloved Mexico," is a popular song south of the border.

Is he AUDITIONING for them? Why not an AMERICAN song?
Does he want to be President of Mexico or the USA?

When I was 18, my former foster mother woke her son up out of his sleep, just to come kick my @$$ because she & I had an argument over her misusing my Social Security checks. Her son put his knee in my throat & raised my arm up & then took my fist & started beating me in my mouth with my own fist until it bled. I called the police & the police said that if I choose to press charges on him, then we'll both go to jail but if he chooses to press charges on me, then it'll be just me to go to jail. It doesn't seem right to me at all. Why was I gonna go to jail regardless, if I was the victim of an abusive situation?

& one time my former foster stepdad has choked me, & the police knew about me being abused in that foster home a lot. I called the cops, & one of them said, "Well, she has been know to make frivolous calls!" & they said next time I called them, I;d have to have a court summons. Why did they keep getting away with this physical abuse? I'm glad I live alone now.

Two Marines cleared of charges in Iraqi deaths

LOS ANGELES — All charges have been dismissed against two Marines accused in the killings of 24 Iraqi civilians in Haditha, the Marine Corps announced Thursday.

Lance Cpl. Justin L. Sharratt, 22, of Canonsburg, Pa., was charged with murdering three brothers. Capt. Randy Stone, 35, a battalion lawyer from Dunkirk, Md., was charged with failing to adequately report and investigate the Nov. 19, 2005, combat action in which women and children were among the dead.

The decision could provide ammunition for political opponents of U.S. Rep. John Murtha, D-Johnstown.

In May 2006, the congressman created a firestorm by saying Marines had killed innocent women and children “in cold blood” during the attacks. Murtha said U.S. troops overreacted and that nearly twice as many people were killed than first reported.
