There are sooooo many!!!
The earliest one I can remember is the one where he said that there would be "No GST" introduced by the Liberal Party. Then 5 weeks after they were elected we got the GST (thanks to the Democrats cave in!).

The best one is the one that is playing out now. This government has known about the situation and abuse of children in Aboriginal communities for many, many years. A couple of years ago there was a doctor who resigned from a Government health program in the far north and he publicly said that it was because of the Federal Government's apathy towards the condition and the treatment of children in Aboriginal communities. Even though the NT government made many, many requests for Federal assistance - THEY DID NOTHING!! In fact they withdrew funding from programs that were supposed to be addressing some of these problems.

The Federal Liberal Government under the leadership of John Howard, are repossessing Aboriginal land under the guise of straightening out the Aborigines (which will probably win them votes) so that the mining of uranium can be facilitated unhindered, so that Australia can be sold out to foreign corporations and the US government and that the building of nuclear waste dumps can proceed unopposed. Howard is as cunning as a shite house rat!
He is a LIAR and he has to go!

There have been so many ...

In my view, the most egregious was that he hadn't yet made up his mind on whether we would support the US if they invaded Iraq ... and we already had troops *inside Iraq*.
