Consult the universal declaration of human rights. You can find it on the UN website or just google it. As far as I know there is no universal document about animal rights.

The only right a human or animal has is the right to defend itself. All other "rights" are given or taken away at the will of the individual or group with the most power.

That's a tough one.

Each country gives its' citizens certain "inalienable rights" (sound familiar?). Here in the US, our founding fathers stated our rights to be "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness". Our Constitution and Bill of Rights then went on to further expound upon our rights.

As far as animals go, not a lot of rights have ever been accorded them. The ASPCA and PETA have been advocates for animal rights for years, using varying tactics and different success. Each would tell you of their feelings on animal rights (very different, I assure you).

My feelings on animals are as follows. Domesticated animals must have proper care, as they lack the ability to care for themselves.

Wild animals must be given a place to be free, to live their lives in the wild.

Well animals have the right to be fried in butter with onions.

You wouldn't use onions when frying humans.

Animals have no rights, they are animals for goodness sake.

You ever see a goat vote ?

Animals have no rights.
Humans, who have all the rights, have an obligation to treat all living things respectfully.

none

we do not honor life on any level - we don't even recognize that we need the earth and atmosphere to survive. everything is at our disposal for comfort and profit.

put that in your home work assignment - however - since our school system sucks it is unlikely you will get an A even tho you would deserve one.
