You are allowed to do anything you want on your property, just as long as it does not infringe upon the rights of others. so, you may wave a flag of another country, but if the government gets enough complaints, they do reserve the right to come over and keep you from doing that.
Sincerely,
Young Einstein

Yes, it is legal. It is also not unpatriotic. If I see an Italian flag outside an Italian restaurant, I would just think the place serves authentic food. Sometimes foreign flags are also flown by soccer fans during world cup. That's showing support of their favorite team, not loyalty to that country.

In America, you can fly a flag from another country, but it must fly underneath the beautiful American Flag. I have a Norwegian Flag, but it does not appear superior to the American Flag. BUT do not fly a flag , from the countries, we are fighting against. Like during the 2nd. world war, it would be a crime to fly the German Flag. First place the American Flag and then underneath, I can fly my Norwegian Flag. But the Norwegian Flag should not be larger then the American Flag. I only do it, because of my Ancestry. Good Question.

international country flags ...... no countries flag may be higher than another - international UN law.
it is perfectly legal to fly another nations flag on US soil.
however it would be nice and alot more pleasing to the other people around him for the owner of that flag to have a 2nd flagpole - the same height- to enable him to fly both the US flag an the other flag.

No.... Unless you live in Pahrump, Nevada.
In Parhump you are only aloud to fly a foreign flag if you are flying the US flag above it. True Story... at least for now. It is already in the agenda for the Supreme Court to review and potentially revoke this legislation.
It is a violation of your first amendment rights.

Of course not, many folk are from other countries. Just a few miles from me are flags from other countries in folk yards. The only time it is degrading is when the flag is from Mexico because they are trying to make a point.

No you can do whatever you want when it comes to something like that. You could wave a Nazi flag if you were so inclined.
Also, it is NOT illegal to burn the US flag.

It's not illegal, however, if you wave the U.S. Flag as well as another flag in your yard, the U.S. Flag should be higher than any others.

It's not illegal. Here in Mexico you can wave any flag you want anywhere, and if they don't let you do that in U.S.A "The land of the free" then maybe, it is not.

Typically it's not illegal, although you might violate a few ordinances if its the flag of Nazi Germany.
And you'll probably get your butt kicked, too.
