its better to be self sufficient than rely on others to do the work for you....besides .....
Why do the huge conglomerates, such as FISHER PRICE, have SO MANY factories in foreign countries that make and sell America Products, that Americans readily purchase--such as the recent recall of thousands of toys from fisher price?
Why dont we produce our own American toys such as Elmo & Dora the Explorer--even Mickey Mouse and Superman?

that's a good enough reason not to vote for clinton, in my book. the bushes for twelve, bill for eight... i don't think i could handle more of the same. i'd like to see some fresh blood, personally. is anyone else a little bothered by this prospect (assuming you were considering clinton in the first place)?

I am not a big Bush supporter but I think the man deserves a break.

AWOL means prison time not an Honorable Discharge that bush recieved. If the military had a problem with Bush they would have charged him or repremanded him. They did not. If his employer, the United States military, did not have a problem with Bush then why do you?

Please - No DADDY responces. "Bush's daddy this, Bush's daddy that." When you use this line of reasoning it looks plain silly because you can't prove it. I can prove that he got an Honorable discharge. Anybody can look that up! You have to go to the conspiracy web sites to get "info" on Bush being AWOL.

Also RIGHTIES, Kerry deserved his medals that he got in Vietnam. How do I know? Because the US Military said he did. Just like they said Bush served Honorably.

Please stop with the nonsense that you can't prove. Let's stick with things we can!

Obama ruled out the use of nuclear weapons to go after al Qaeda or Taliban targets in Afghanistan or Pakistan, prompting Clinton to say presidents never take the nuclear option off the table, and extending their feud over whether Obama has enough experience to be elected president in November 2008.

Many Bush supporters believe that we should just WIPE OUT whole areas of different nations that have terrorists--without any forethought.

With the exception of Obama, it seems are illustrious Democratic candidates feel that we SHOULD use such weapons on areas--of certain countries--that harbor such terror organizations.

Is this what it means to "take the gloves off"--if conventional warefare fails to uproot terrorism?

If my friend with a revoked (not suspended, but revoked) drivers license, drives my car that is titled, registered and insured in my name, and he gets caught, what are the ramifications against me?

He had many drunk driving charges and his license was revoked in 1995 - he has fulfilled all obligations: jail time, fines & fees, counseling, AA, etc., stayed sober, and reapplied for his license in 2005, and was denied.

ANYWAY... I just wanted to know what could happen to ME if he is caught driving my car - even if I didn't know he was driving it.

Also, what would most likely happen to him for driving on a revoked license?

And the Democrat vs Republican puppet show continues, but this time with a twist! Hillary accepts $20,000 in campaign donations from News Corp(Faux News) and fellow CFR member John Edwards attacks her for befriending right wing establishments.

I guess they want us to forget how they conspired to thin the herd of other Democrat presidential hopefuls just a few weeks ago.

Ok, I live in Texas and just got a phone call from a collection agency from a ticket I recieved in July of 2002. The statue of limitations is two years for a speeding ticket, which is also a class c misdemeanor. I had my radio turned up too loud, and recieved a disorderly conduct ticket. What do I do to get this issue resolved, and should anyone be contacting me about this? Can they issue a warrant (which I don't think they have considering they haven't yet)? Will this go against my credit if I don't pay it? Someone please help, thanks! =)

I was born in Russia, and lived there for acouple years. I've moved to the US, and I live there now. I've seen two different views from Americans and Russians.

Many Russians I've talked to are friendly and helpful towards all people. They've asked me how US was and always wanted to live there. Russian people aren't consider that rich, they take what they have.
When I've moved to the US, SOME people did give me negative comments that Im a spy and cruel jokes. I was suprised by this.
So why do some people act like this? I do admit, I hate the Russian gvt, but not the people. So then, why do some Americans think Russia is such a cruel mistaken country?
Overall I think people take too much for granted, and think as they see things on TV.
