Rangle is lucky to still have his seat at this point.
Any Dem who votes for this is committing political suicide.
Countries like Italy and Israel come to mind with respects to compulsory military service. That's not really a draft, though.

during the democratic primaries, "youtube" debate, each candidate turned down a possible draft, but each saying that women should be eligible too.

It won't happen if I have anything to say about it. If this country is so sick at heart that we can't raise enough volunteers to defend ourselves, then our society doesn't deserve to survive.
