Well, you have one or two things going on here. Either the company is trying to make a killer in savings and they ;lkj up. The other one that nobody is looking for it a tax write off. Oh ya, all the big companies are doing it now in America. They need a write off for the money they make in America. Hell, we can ship all this crap for pennies and then take a 30 million dollar hit to our US accounts.

Or better yet, we can declare bankruptcy and then pay to have all are equipment move to another country with the money we save.

I don't know about you, but it would be nice to see people question how they handle that loss ie in America funds or out of other countries.

They wouldn't dare endanger their cash-cow. Though they may be a communist country, the majority of their econimic infrastructure relies on Corporate America outsourcing production and skilled-labor jobs into the Asian marketplace. Without any stateside (US) human resources to provide these outsourcing opportunities, China would need to find another colosal consumer-driven capitalist society to exploit.

I don't think they are trying to poison us. They need all those folks alive and kicking so they can be herded into WalMart everyday and buy stuff they wouldn't even consider giving to their own families.

We're the butt of every cheap American joke. There won't be any of the "biting the hand that feeds you" any time soon.

I don't really think it's intentional. I think they are just more backward than we are. We used to use lead-based paint and lead pipes in our water system 70 years ago. Industrialization is relatively new to them, and we know they don't value human life and safety as much as we do. It's really scary though.

Any organization that markets a product is responsible for the integrity and safety of the product. Blame the companies that are selling us this junk.

I think our new trade parners should be Costa Rica or somewhere FUN to visit.

Actually, the FDA should have been inspecting these items regularly. Glad I grow my own food.
