Has anyone proposed denying women the right to reproduce?

Does twirling shiny keys while saying "reproductive rights" really work?

George Bush has been right every step of the way on our war on terror. Saddam attacked us on 9/11, had WMDs, We accomplished our mission, the Iraqi people are standing up and I for one don't want them to follow us home. Not to mention the surge is working, You lieberals have more freedoms then ever and our economy is so good. I wonder if the stock market will ever stop rising? Al Qeada is on the run and all the Iraqi oil is paying for the war. Everything George Bush said has happened.. What does he have to do for you guys to back him? I mean he even wants to give weapons to the saudis now!

I read recently about a 'dream team' for the next Presidential election: Mayor Michael Bloomberg as President and Govenor Arnold Schwarzenegger as Vice President. I assume this can never happen because all Presidential candidates must be citizens of the US, which would, by necessity, include all Vice Presidential candidates. Is this a fact? Please include your source of information.

Since it began erupting on Jan. 3, 1983, the Kilauea, Hawaii volcano has been sending an average of 2,000 metric tons of sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere each day
http://volcanoes.usgs.gov/Hazards/What/VolGas/VolGasPollution.html

You know, if we had only just signed the Kyoto Protocol, that volcano wouldn’t be polluting like that, right?

It’s true - my fortune cookie said so!

With all the methane gas deposits, CO2 deposits, sulfur dioxide and other naturally occuring pollutants issuing forth from the Earth, why aren’t the environmentalists protesting the Earth?

It’s trying to commit suicide!

It’s trying to abort itself!

Or maybe - like scientists have been saying for decades - the Earth equalizes itself, and there is really no harm being done by people

Taliban militants have used a heat-seeking surface-to-air missile to attack a Western aircraft over Afghanistan for the first time.

The attack with a weapon believed to have been smuggled across the border with Iran represents a worrying increase in the capability of the militants which Western commanders had long feared.

god, the religious zealots being U.S. citizens also? I am contrasting the difference in what is done in Afghanistan, with the taliban and ordinary Afghanistanians and a group of religious zealots here and regular U.S. citizens. I am particularly thinking about if they were willing to fight to the death.

Someone I know was stpuid and broke into a car. he knows waht he did was wrong and he had to stay in jail and i think he has learned his lesson. The people who snitched on him didn't even see him doing it. He was selling the stereo but they had no idea that it has been stolen. He lives in a bad neighborhood and has never really had much. he came from a bad family and I guess he was never told right from wrong. Like I said, I think that it would be ok normally but since wher ehe is, people don't do that because bad stuff can happen to them. I mean for their own safety. I can see why they did it, but it was a dangerous move. I am in no way condoning what he did because it was wrong. I just think it was out of line for someone to do that if they didn't even know.
Now if they saw him then yes.. that would be appropriate. well someone let me know. I guess if you come from diff side of the tracks you are going to think differently.

haneef is off the hook due to technical reasons not because he is innocent. his diary, hard drive about jehad, involvement of his family members in terrorist activities, all these activities clearly points toward active involvement of haneef in act terror.it is very unfortunate that prime minister of india is showing his sympathy towards haneef.congrees party is trying to appease muslim voters by lending support to the act of terror.i don't know how low congrees will go to appease muslims to get muslim votes .unbiased opinions are invited especially from the congress worker.

Obama or Clinton is the question.... i'm actually fine with anyone as long as it isn't Bush....well seriously, I want Clinton to win because she knows how the white house works, and she was married to a president so she probably gave advice to him that wasn't having sex with his secratary hopefully, but Obama i just don't think can pull it off.

Amercians have already voted in an actor, Ronald Reagan. Another actor, Fred Thompson, seems to be a serious contender for the Republican presidential nomination. Why draw the line there? Why not go all the way and vote for a porn actor or actress? He or she would be as qualified as any regular Hollywood actor. Discuss.

Is this one of those truly horrible crimes that no form of justice but the death penalty is tough enough for? Anyone so violent and disgusting to not only commit these crimes but to tie up an 11 year old girl to subject her to this makes you question whether some have a soul.
